VHSL State Wrestling tournament begins Friday morning in Salem

VHSL State Wrestling comes to Salem Civic Center on Friday and Saturday Feb. 15-16. 2A. Lord Botetourt has two wrestlers Sam Ring and Kyle Haley going to the big mats. 1A James River, Region C champs, has six wrestlers Luke Arney, Caleb Sink, Jonathan Lancenese, Tyler Harlow, Owen Deacon and Cody Snead heading to state competition. JRHS Senior Kyle King had knee surgery this week and will not be able to pursue his state title.
Finals are Saturday.
