Buchanan woman killed in I-81 crash in Montgomery County
The Botetourt View heard from Gregory Dooley the husband of Priscilla S. Dooley who is the accident victim listed in the Virginia State Police press release of March 3, 2013 (featured below which has DMV information.) He wanted to clarify that she is known as Priscilla Dooley. The couple had been married since January of 2012. They are pictured here on their wedding day in the City of Roanoke. She was a wife and mother.

The Virginia State Police are continuing their investigation into a single vehicle crash that occurred saturday night shortly before 8:00 pm on Interstate 81 at the 112 mile post in Montgomery County. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Chevrolet Impala was traveling southbound when the driver ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned in the median. The driver Priscilla Ann Steinmetz, age 31, of Buchanan, Virginia was wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash but was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details regarding the crash are available at this time.

Do you have an idea as to when our bakery, cafe will open in Buchanan where the antique store, Eagles Nest, is located? They said the first of Jan. 2013, but still haven’t seen any signs of a bakery.

No Shirley I do not. I heard back in October by the Spring of the year. It is almost Spring and it is still an Antique store as of last Thursday when I was in Town. Will ask and see!
