ADAPTING TO A CHANGING CLIMATE MANAGING PASTURE FOR INCREASED DROUGHT TOLERANCE

Botetourt County Extension Winter Forage Meeting

March 21st, 2013 Fincastle Volunteer Fire Department

6:30pm 25 Vine Street, Fincastle Va. 24090

Winter forage meeting featuring Virginia Extension Forage Specialist, Chris Teutsch. Chris is a forage and livestock specialist that has focused his research on Filling in the summer slump in cool-season forage production, and Extending the grazing season.

A question and answer session will be held at the end of the meeting with local producers that are utilizing advanced grazing systems locally.

There is no cost for this program but we do ask that if possible you pre-register with Botetourt County Extension Office: (540) 473-8260, MCL87@vt.edu. If you have any questions please contact Kate Lawrence: (540) 473-8260, MCL87@vt.edu.
