A proposed Christiansburg farmers market is seeking participants for next spring.

The Farmer’s Market would be open Saturday’s from May 1 to Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Its location has not yet been determined.

Vendors would pay a weekly fee of $10, which is collected by the farmers market coordinator.

The coordinator must agree to maintain the market throughout its timeframe, and will receive $1,000 for salary and expenses. Farmers, artists, and independent business are all invited to take advantage of the farmers market.
