ESPN hires Greenberg

ESPN officially announced the hiring of former Virginia Tech coach Seth Greenberg today.

ESPN also announced the hiriing of another former coach, Bruce Pearl. Both Greenberg and Pearl will be primarily studio analysts, although they will also do some color commentary on games.

Neither man will replace Hubert Davis on “College GameDay,” though. That spot will go to Jalen Rose, who moves over from ESPN’s NBA coverage. Davis left earlier this year to join the UNC coaching staff.
