my gosh, what has happened to athletics at BC????
I’m guessing they will have a new football coach next season!
I know that social media is a foreign concept to this particular blog, but I’ll mention something I saw referenced by Seth Greenberg recently on social media. It was something that, if you were an Athletic Director, you should be imminently aware of, yet has seemed to go unnoticed by our own Jim Weaver on the few days he actually spends in office now.
Jeff Battle, of Wake Forest.

Wow! An impressive resume! From the Mid-Atlantic region with lots of local ties. Proven under different coaching styles, and very effective. What a great candidate to interview for a potential job as a head coach.! Especially in the ACC!
Interesting that his name, nor any OTHER substantial name came up as even discussing an interview for the replacement of Seth Greenberg. Not like Battle’s a good recruiter, has knowledge of the region, has experience in the ACC, or anything like that.
For all those disappointed with football, just hang on. Hokie basketball will be here soon enough, and it’s going to make you forget all about the problems with the football team! Trust me on that one…
It doesn’t matter what is happening to BC athleticss. We all know what the BC program is all about – bringing that glorious Boston TV market to the ACC . . . yeah . . . sure.
In terms of myself and social media, I am indeed on Twitter. @BermanRoanoke
Being on Twitter does not equate to being active in social media. But, hey, the miniscule number of clicks on this blog already tell you that, though you won’t admit it, as does the limited number of people you follow on Twitter. Three customer posts in four days on here. Yeah, that’s a social media hotbed…
who pays for those magazines? you or the times is the most compelling question here, sir.
Have not submitted any expense reimbursement request yet!
longbrancher, surely Mark does like the rest of us, he goes to Barnes and Noble and reads ‘em and puts them back on the shelf. Does anybody really buy them?
Well, I do quite a bit of Tweeting and have over 800 followers who read my Tweets, so I do consider myself active on Twitter, which is being active in social media.
And I don’t expect a lot of comments on a basketballo blog in early October. But I’m glad you do comment!
