Taijah Campbell to miss FSU game
Virginia Tech women’s basketball coach Dennis Wolff said Saturday that starting forward Taijah Campbell will miss her second straight game Sunday because of Achilles tendinitis in her left foot.
The Hokies, on a six-game skid, visit No. 22 Florida State at 2 p.m. (ESPN3.com).
Monet Tellier, who did not start in the Hokies’ loss at North Carolina State on Thursday because of a violation of team rules, will return to the starting lineup Sunday.
And on the men’s front, here is the preview capsule for the VT-Clemson men’s game Sunday:

Notes: Hokies coach James Johnson left Seth Greenberg’s staff last April to join Brad Brownell’s staff at Clemson. Three weeks later, he returned to Tech as Greenberg’s replacement. … Since Tech joined the ACC, 11 of the teams’ 13 meetings have been decided by five points or less. The Hokies were 2-1 against the Tigers last season. … Brown is shooting just 21 percent from the field (17 of 82) in his last nine games. … Green had 35 points in Thursday’s loss to UVa, the highest total by an ACC player this season. … Clemson ranks second in the ACC and 12th nationally in scoring defense (56.3 ppg). … Clemson recorded back-to-back home wins over UVa and Wake Forest, holding each team to just 44 points, but has followed up those victories with back-to-back road losses. Clemson lost at N.C. State 66-62 last weekend despite 27 points from Booker. On Thursday, Clemson lost 60-57 at Florida State on a Michael Snaer 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Another 0 for 2 day for the basketball programs, Weaver, I hope you enjoy the destruction you achieved with both programs, poor coaching picks over the past few years ( 5 total coaches ) and no
acc level funding. I am sure you will point to the practice facility, but it seems to be of little value to promote victories.
