Notes: Hokies coach James Johnson left Seth Greenberg’s staff last April to join Brad Brownell’s staff at Clemson. Three weeks later, he returned to Tech as Greenberg’s replacement. … Since Tech joined the ACC, 11 of the teams’ 13 meetings have been decided by five points or less. The Hokies were 2-1 against the Tigers last season. … Brown is shooting just 21 percent from the field (17 of 82) in his last nine games. … Green had 35 points in Thursday’s loss to UVa, the highest total by an ACC player this season. … Clemson ranks second in the ACC and 12th nationally in scoring defense (56.3 ppg). … Clemson recorded back-to-back home wins over UVa and Wake Forest, holding each team to just 44 points, but has followed up those victories with back-to-back road losses. Clemson lost at N.C. State 66-62 last weekend despite 27 points from Booker. On Thursday, Clemson lost 60-57 at Florida State on a Michael Snaer 3-pointer at the buzzer.

These sorry chokies will probably choke again and then E Green would come on the TV saying I am not going out like this I need help!! The chokies are like a cheap tire the patching is falling off and there are no more fixes available. So thus the saying goes “we only have 7 schlorship players Uh, Uh!!”
