    Hi Mark,

I did not get a chance to watch the game, but your comments indicated that Hamilton was surprised by the results of his late game decision to start fouling with over 2 1/2 min left.

Is that really that out of the ordinary? If so, do you think that might have actually sealed the win, giving VT more rest from having more breaks in play? Just wondering, since we have seen VT take a number of leads into the second half of games, only to ‘run out of gas’ and lose in the end.

Any hope down in Miami? Thanks!

Well, Green and Johnson were indeed suprrised that Hamilton started fouling when there was still about 2 and a half minutes left in the game. Hamilton was hoping that VT would got 1 of 2 from the line sometimes to get FSU a chance to get back in the game. He obviously did not expect VT to make all those free throws.

Miami is coming off a loss, so that team will be fired up. I don’t see VT with any hope of winning down there. Miami’s coach, in the wake of their loss, has cancelled all player interviews until further notice. He wants his players focused. That’s bad news for VT
