Rankin sidelined

It looks like Marquis Rankin won’t play against Maryland tonight because of the flu. He is not on the court.

C.J. Barksdale is sick too but is stretching with the rest of the team.

Brown, Eddie, & Raines all need to step up their games, and do so consistently. Raines played well last night. The problem is that no more than one of those guys seem to have a good game at the same time. They all three need to do that every game. I’ve been saying that since October, but nobody wanted to be reminded of it in previous months.

Green’s having a standout season, but one guy doesn’t win the game for you. Witness the last several games. It’s pretty easy to do the math on it. Brown, Eddie, & Raines need to step up EVERY game, not once each every 3-4 games. If that doesn’t happen, and history shows it’s not likely, then we’ll soon be underwater on the W-L record for the rest of the season. Check the coming schedule, it’s not going to get any easier.
