Link: Green makes All-ACC first team

Erick Green and Joe Harris made the All-ACC first team today. Here is the link to the story.  In tomorrow’s paper and online tomorrow, there will be a longer story with quotes.

Player of the year comes out tomorrow; I voted for Green. I voted Jim Larranaga for coach of the year, which also comes out tomorrow.

My All-ACC first team was  Green, Larkin, Plumlee, Harris and Curry. Howell made first team instead of Curry today, but I have no argument with that. Howell equally worthy.

My second team was Howell, Lorenzo Brown, Snaer, Kadji and McAdoo. Snaer made the third team today, but I definitely think he deserved second team. Bullock of UNC made the second team today but I did not vote for him any team.

My third team was Durand Scott, CJ Leslie, Ryan Anderson, CJ Harris of Wake and Devin Booker. To me it was a coin flip between Booker and Akil Mitchell, so I’m glad they wound up tied and both made the six-man third team today. Quinn Cook of Duke made the third team today, but I did not vote for him. Too bad Durand Scott did not make the third team, he definitely deserved it. Shocking to see him not deemed worthy of third team. Obviously I thought CJ Harris was worthy of third team as well.

I was driving back from Wake so I did not see any of that game. Maybe someone else saw it?
