I voted Jim Larranaga for coach of the year, which also comes out tomorrow.
My All-ACC first team was Green, Larkin, Plumlee, Harris and Curry. Howell made first team instead of Curry today, but I have no argument with that. Howell equally worthy.
My second team was Howell, Lorenzo Brown, Snaer, Kadji and McAdoo. Snaer made the third team today, but I definitely think he deserved second team. Bullock of UNC made the second team today but I did not vote for him any team.
My third team was Durand Scott, CJ Leslie, Ryan Anderson, CJ Harris of Wake and Devin Booker. To me it was a coin flip between Booker and Akil Mitchell, so I’m glad they wound up tied and both made the six-man third team today. Quinn Cook of Duke made the third team today, but I did not vote for him. Too bad Durand Scott did not make the third team, he definitely deserved it. Shocking to see him not deemed worthy of third team. Obviously I thought CJ Harris was worthy of third team as well.

Mark, you don’t get the traffic over here that Aaron does – he pays really well to post! – but I really like how you explain your picks for things, for the top 25, and votes like this.
I was right with you on first team, and coach of the year, and I agree on Snaer. The guy hit too many game winners to be 3rd team.
Green should undoubtably be player of the year.
With Bullock on 2nd team instead of Snaer, and Cook on 3rd team instead of D. Scott of Miami, you wonder if that is a case of perhaps more media voters from the state of N. Carolina than the state of Florida? But it shouldn’t matter what state you work in, you should put Snaer on 2nd team and Scott on 3rd team, in my opinion.
