Sadly, it sounds like coach James Johnson is going all Seth Greenberg on us by trotting out the “youth excuse.”

    Johnson said:

“We’ve got a young group. … We’re still trying to figure it out as far as how to prepare to play a game, how to prepare to play 40 minutes, how to play hard for 40 minutes.”

The facts show that his five players with the most playing time are a senior, a red-shirt junior, a junior and two sophmores.

And Johnson made the “young group” / “still trying to figure it out ” excuse now – when the players have virtually completed yet another season!
