Led Zep world tour?

Looks like Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page wants the band to get out there and tour. Link.

I never got to see the Zep live, and have only old concert footage on VH1 classic to rely on. But it's clear from seeing that old stuff that the band was adventurous, always willing to stretch the boundaries of even its biggest hits. I think you could even say it was a jam band.

By most accounts, the band was very good at its reunion show.

Jump in here, gentle blog readers, and tell me if you wanna see the Zep get back together.

I guess I'd see them live in the context of an archaeological expedition. It'd be another $200 per ticket tour, the crowd filled with aged(rather then aging)sad fans trying to revisit the days of their youth when a semblance of continence was still in the picture.

A semblance? Please. As my Dad used to say: "I resemble that comment."
