In 2003, his label produced its first Grammy-nominated album, Roland White's "Jelly on My Tofu." At 1999's Bluegrass Music Awards, Reid won the award for best liner notes, for a Country Gentlemen box set, which was on Rebel Records. Recently, he produced a Stanley Brothers retrospective for the Time-Life series. When it comes to the Stanleys, Reid seems to be a completist.
