Sun Music Hall shines again

The renovations are just about complete and the Sun Music Hall in Floyd is re-opening for a new slate of shows.

This is a Seated Room event.

This all-women trio from Asheville, NC, conjures up the sweet and sultry sounds of the Appalachian mountains they call home. These gals are full of surprises, from middle-eastern flute lines, honking harmonica, claw-hammer banjo, jumbo guitar, to the weaving of their soulful, belting vocals.

The Carolina Chocolate Drops Saturday June 21 8 PM

This lovely African-American string band comes together to play the rich traditional fiddle and banjo music of the Carolinas. They've been bringing down the house everywhere they play and we are honored to have them in Floyd.

Laura Reed and Deep Pocket Friday June 27 8 PM
