Kerry Hurley’s blues radio show has moved to The Planet

After 11 years, WROV-FM dropped Hurley’s blues show about the same time it let go employees including former program director Jay Prater. But Hurley, of The Fat Daddy Band and Blue 5 Restaurant, is back on the air.

Last Wednesday, he debuted the “Blues With A Feeling Show” on 101.5 The Planet, WZZI-FM, Roanoke. The show can also be heard on The Planet’s 106.9 in Bedford and 97-9 in Lynchburg.

Hear the show from 10 p.m.-midnight every Wednesday, Hurley said in an e-mail.

About this blog

cutNscratch is The Roanoke Times music blog. Music reporter Tad Dickens enjoys pickin' and grinnin' and drummin', and he likes to write about music, too. He'll post plenty about local, regional and national music, but it won't be any fun at all if you don't jump in and have your say. So do it!
