Mafia Track Suit releases EP, gets it on the XBox 360 version of Rock Band
Roanoke band Mafia Track Suit recently released a self-titled EP. The record captures the band’s live sound, and Billy Chase — who I always think sounds a good bit like Dave Grohl — is in fine form. Joining chase is rhythm section Todd Cooper (drums) and Justin Tolley (bass), and lead guitarist Jeremy Georgeff.
In a sign of the times, the Suit has also worked with a company called Fairwood Studios to get its music onto Rock Band 2′s XBox 360 format.
In an e-mail, Chase said the new record is available for download at Bandcamp and iTunes.
“It will soon be up on CDBaby.com and we have signed a distribution deal with Urban Life to have our music digitally distributed,” Chase wrote. “Urban Life is expanding their genre listings to include various rock style bands. They are mostly a hip-hop artist distributor.”
