14th- Homegrown Concert Series Featuring Jerry Wimmer

16th- TEN (The Pearl Jam Tribute)
Ten is the nations premier fan tribute to the legendary rock band Pearl Jam. Touring the eastern US and beyond since 2004, the band has played over 500 shows nationwide to standing room only crowds, and has developed a truly unique show for die-hards and casual fans alike.

17th- COWBOY (The Kid Rock Tribute)

20th- Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band
The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is a three-piece American country blues band from Brown County, Indiana. They play more than 250 dates per year at venues ranging from bars to festivals. To date, they have released seven albums, the most recent is Peyton on Patton a tribute to blues pioneer Charlie Patton.
Members
Reverend J. Peyton – guitar, lead vocals, and principal songwriter
On stage he plays a rusty 1930 steel bodied National guitar, a 1934 wood bodied National Trojan Resonator guitar and a 1994 reproduction of a 1929 Gibson acoustic. He has recently added a 3 string cigar box guitar to his stage collection. Peyton uses no outboard gear other than a three input switch box between his guitars and the amplifier. He is a noted proponent of Fingerstyle guitar, playing the bass line of songs with his thumb while simultaneously playing the melody, the melody of a different song or a round.
“Washboard” Breezy Peyton – Washboard
She plays the washboard using golf gloves, to which thimbles have been attached. Her aggressive playing style results in the band selling fragments of broken and burnt washboard at the merchandise table at their concerts.
Aaron “Cuz” Persinger – drums
He plays a small drum kit, augmented with a five gallon plastic bucket fitted with drum hardware. The band claims they are the only rock band with a bucket endorsement deal.

22nd- Devon Allman’s Honeytribe
In late 2005 the members of Honeytribe started woodshedding new material that would eventually end up on their late 2006 debut album release, TORCH. Hailed by critics and fans alike, TORCH sold well in North America and Europe and was featured heavily on satellite radio. The band was invited to perform in both the XM and Sirius studios , playing exclusive hour-long sets for each that were broadcast multiple times. Touring ramped up, and from 2006 to 2009 Honeytribe gained fans the old school way : in a van , almost 300 dates a year , 44 states and 14 countries.
During that time, Honeytribe was featured on many festivals, headlining tours, and on many radio stations and television appearances. New fans, like Billy Bob Thornton and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, came and rocked out to the Honeytribe show in the Gibson tent at the annual CES convention in Las Vegas. Gibbons sat in and jammed with the Tribe and that year also saw Devon being asked to sit in with the legendary Les Paul, The Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts, Keller Wiliams, Beth Hart, Billy Bob Thornton as well as being featured in Relix, Guitar Player,Guitar World and Guitar One magazines.
Word was finally getting around that Honeytribe was much, much more than just a band with a singer /guitarist of famous heritage. It was an idea.. a feel..a band with serious musicians who simply want to see good music live on and were willing to tour their asses off to serve it up worldwide. World class bassist George Potsos brings an undeniable edge to this band also. An absolute monster to behold, both in terms of energy and musicianship. Gabriel Strange rounds out the trio on drums providing a solid feel and energy for the trio.
2010 found Allman and the Tribe in Memphis at Ardent studios again to make the sophomore album SPACE AGE BLUES. 2,500 purple Christmas lights were brought in to produce a vibe conducive to making a sci-fi blues epic. David Fricke from Rolling Stone stopped in while in town….Huey Lewis played some harmonica on the record and 40 days were spent with Allman producing what he feels is the most important record of their career

23rd- Gasoline Alley with Special Guests JUICE
ARENA ROCK TRIBUTE BAND

24th- The Materia Project
The Materia Project formed in 2008 when John Hill, Adam Hill, Darren Shropshire, Jay Malone, and Phil Snapp decided to join forces to do one thing, and one thing only; create music. Each of the musicians had played together in different configurations over the years, but never had they all come together to actually focus the creativity. Jay Malone (Guitar) and Phil Snapp (Drums) played together in Roanoke, Virginia’s “The Discordian Society” for several years before they both took musical hiatuses. A year or so later, John Hill (Guitar), Darren Shropshire (Bass), and Phil Snapp started working on some original music as well as some covers, and quickly gained momentum. Shortly after, Jay Malone was asked to get on board, and then Adam Hill (Keyboards) actually left the regional and successful act “Keith Bryant and Iron Horse” in order to complete the group. Within a year’s time the group had written several solid original songs, and locked down many popular covers; it was time to start playing some gigs. For their first show they played a packed house at downtown Roanoke’s Martin’s Bar and Grill, opening for one of Roanoke’s best loved acts “The Seed”, and within the next year they were headlining packed weekend gigs in a competitive music market. They made it into the top 10 of 96.3 WROV’s Battle to Rock the Blue Ridge Bike Fest, and the following year made it into the top 5. The Materia Project has also opened for acts such as EOTO (Michael Travis and Jason Hann of String Cheese Incident) Jamie McLean of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Virginia Beach’s Jesse Chong, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, and many others. They also headlined one night of the growing “Front Porch Festival” in NC and played a solid set at “Pink Moon festival“ in WV with acts like EOTO, The Lee Boys, and Booty Band etc

25th-Sons of Bill – Virginia Calling Tour
Bill Wilson is from Central Virginia. He is a professor of philosophical theology, a songwriter, an expert on southern literature, and a father of six.
His three eldest sons returned to Virginia to start a rock band in 2006 with long-time musical compadres Seth Green and Todd Wellons. As a
tribute to the man who taught them how to play guitar, write songs, drive a stick-shift, and back up a trailer, the band decided to name themselves Sons of Bill.
In the summer of 2011 Sons of Bill entered Sound of Music Studios in Richmond VA, with producer David Lowery (Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven) to record their latest record “SIRENS.” The band describes this record as a musical arrival point, and will be released on March 27th 2012.

30th- Side Show
That 80s rock band that plays other stuff too. Side Show is comprised of veteran musicians from diverse backgrounds. SideShow performs the best in rock-n-roll from the 70s, 80s,90s and today. If you like the 80s hair-bands, you’re going to love SideShow!!!

31st- Blue Mule
Blue Mule – a unique group of musicians working in a bluegrass context
with heavy doses of jazz, rock, blues and country.
Blue Mule – playing everything from Miles Davis to Merle Haggard, Bill Monroe
to Jethro Tull.
Blue Mule – creative song writing bringing a fresh perspective to
modern acoustic music.
Blue Mule – a performance that is one of intensity, spontaneity
and the pursuit of “playing that lick just a little bit better than the night before”.
Danceable, listenable and hopefully, memorable long after it’s over,
a set by Blue Mule is unlike any you’ve heard.
Blue Mule – it’s what you’re doing this weekend!
