Pimps of Joytime, The Mantras, Kings of Belmont, William Walter & Co. among headliners for this year’s Rooster Walk
Southside music festival Rooster Walk, approaching its fourth go-round, has signed up Pimps of Joytime to headline the May 25-27 event.
The festival, founded in honor of Edwin “The Rooster’ Penn and Walker Shank, raises money for the Penn-Shank Memorial Scholarship at Martinsville High School. But when it’s time for the event, the folks like to get down. That’s clear from the festival’s choice of performers.
Also on the bill this year are The Mantras, Kings of Belmont, Williams Walter & Co. and lots more. Go to the festival’s revamped website to get more info. UPDATE [2:56 p.m. Feb. 16, 2012]: Tickets are now available for $35, including camping, for the entire three days. Get them before prices go up.
Now, how about a little Pimps video?
