Sami Akbari, aka sami.the.great, has a killer voice, an outstanding backing band and a set of good original tunes. Here, the Roanoke College alum returns to the valley for a house show at the first-ever (and we hope not last-ever) Compass & Loft Sessions. The act finished its set with this song, “Making Eyes.”
