A new album is forthcoming from the reconstituted Electric Chameleon, and every time the band plays live, it seems to get better. Here is EC on Friday night at Martin’s Downtown, playing one of the new numbers “Confess.”

Very curious to see where this new disc will wind up taking the band.

And while we’re at it here, Tobacco Apache opened the show with EC drummer Mason Jennelle on the kit, in place of the dearly departed Chance Taylor. Jennelle pumped it out through two hard-hitting sets.

About this blog

cutNscratch is The Roanoke Times music blog. Music reporter Tad Dickens enjoys pickin' and grinnin' and drummin', and he likes to write about music, too. He'll post plenty about local, regional and national music, but it won't be any fun at all if you don't jump in and have your say. So do it!
