Groova Scape, after more than two dozen lineup changes, is still hitting it. The smartest thing guitarist/songwriter Henry Lazenby did was to bring Brittany Sparks onboard for vocals. She is powerful, even if a bit inconsistent at times, and she can nail some high notes with soul. Sparks is definitely approaching her potential.
The band lays back solid here as she sings “Move Around With Me” last night at Martin’s, in an opening slot for Dangermuffin.
