Country music hitmaker Martina McBride returns to Roanoke for the first time since April 2010, when she brings her “The Joy of Christmas” show to the venue on Nov. 25.

Last year, Vince Gill and Amy Grant combined to bring the spirit of Nashville, Tenn., Christmas to Big Lick. McBride has had a run of success that parallel’s that Music City power couple. She has sold nearly 15 million albums and has won top female vocalist numerous times at both the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards shows.

Tickets are $69 and $59 and will go on sale Sept. 28. Buy them at the Roanoke Civic Center box office (and avoid those pesky fees) or buy via 877-482-8496 or hometownbanktix.com.

About this blog

cutNscratch is The Roanoke Times music blog. Music reporter Tad Dickens enjoys pickin' and grinnin' and drummin', and he likes to write about music, too. He'll post plenty about local, regional and national music, but it won't be any fun at all if you don't jump in and have your say. So do it!
