Music video — Affliction Kid rocking live at Growler’s American Grill last month

The Pullouts and Affliction Kid joined rock ‘n’ roll forces once again late last month. This time out, Aug. 25, they broke in Growler’s, along with opening act Cretin Mouth.

Here, Mike Grubb belts one out and gets into some twin-guitar lead action with Dylan Hendrix. The rhythm section — drummer Nick Martin and bassist Jason Keffer — was a rock. I’ll add the song title as soon as I can. UPDATE 1:48 p.m., 9.6.12: The tune is “Sally,” from the band’s first CD, “Crush That Man, He’s Thinking!” Thanks, Troy “Jackal Tickets” Sisson.

AK and The Pullouts are great examples of dudes who might be rocking the day jobs but still know how to rock. Always worth seeing, unless you’re uptight. Then don’t bother.

This is definately a great example of one of the best underground bands in Roanoke. I’m glad you posted this Tad, Affliction Kid never dissapoint. Every one of there shows are consistently great. They are super cool guys without egos that deserve way more recognition in this town than they normally get. Thanks for the video!
