New video from Honor By August features scenes shot in Roanoke — see ‘Somebody Real’ here
D.C.-area band Honor By August plays a fair amount in Roanoke, and no wonder. The band’s manager is David Redick, a Roanoke guy. Redick recently brought the band to town to play a party for his brother J.J. Redick’s charity, and the band also shot scenes in town for its newly released video for the song “Somebody Real.” It’s the first single off the band’s forthcoming album, “Monuments To Progress.” If you like the single, look for the album next year. Check out the video here. You’re sure to recognize some Big Lick scapes.

My cousins little girl plays the newborn!! It was cool picking out the Roanoke sites, and it turned out to be an awesome song. May have to get the album!
The video was shot and directed by former WDBJ-7 sports guy Steve Mason.
Thanks for the info, Howard. You would know!
