Podcast with Kings of Belmont keyboardist Aaron Ahlbrandt — the band comes to Blacksburg on Thursday, to Floyd on Saturday
Charlottesville act Kings of Belmont, formed by friends over a shared love of the band Ween, played some hot sets at FloydFest in July, including a late-night Global Village show that included a recreation of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side Of The Moon.”
The band plays Sycamore Deli on Thursday and Dogtown Roadhouse/Sun Music Hall, Floyd.
On this podcast with keyboardist Aaron Ahlbrandt, we learn about the band’s pretty wacky take on life and music, and we stream music — “Pizza Rain,” “Hobo Wetbrain” and “All I Got.”
Details: 9 p.m. Sycamore Deli, 211B Draper Road, Blacksburg. $5. 951-9817. 9 p.m. Dogtown Roadhouse/Sun Music Hall, Floyd. $8. 745-6836, sunmusichall.com, kingsofbelmont.com
