We’ve traveled up to Devils Backbone on Wednesday nights this summer to see Travis and Sarah play on Bluegrass Night.

The Stringdusters put on one hell of a show, and I’d challenge anyone, bluegrass fan or not, to go see them and not have a great time. Their energy, their passion, and their talent create the perfect storm for a live show.

We are SO looking forward to seeing them in our hometown tonight (though the boyfriend did get to see their show a couple years back at Kirk Ave!) And we’re VERY much looking forward to Sarah and Travis’ acoustic set at Kirk Ave in December!

If anyone reading this is free tonight, I can assure you the $20 ticket price is well worth it. I saw them once and fell in love with them. Their music is incredible, but their live show is one-of-a-kind. Don’t miss this opportunity… they may be “local” to VA, but they’re in the area a lot less than you would think!

It is a well run and fun festival. I wish they had power for RV’s, but I’m sure that will happen in the future.
