My boyfriend and I have become some what 'Dusters obsessed... after going to the 2011 Festy, we've been to see them for NYE in Charlottesville, an outdoor show also in Charlottesville in May, The Festy 2012, and we already have our tickets to see them on NYE again this year. We've traveled up to Devils Backbone on Wednesday nights this summer to see Travis and Sarah play on Bluegrass Night.

The Stringdusters put on one hell of a show, and I'd challenge anyone, bluegrass fan or not, to go see them and not have a great time. Their energy, their passion, and their talent create the perfect storm for a live show.

We are SO looking forward to seeing them in our hometown tonight (though the boyfriend did get to see their show a couple years back at Kirk Ave!) And we're VERY much looking forward to Sarah and Travis' acoustic set at Kirk Ave in December!

If anyone reading this is free tonight, I can assure you the $20 ticket price is well worth it. I saw them once and fell in love with them. Their music is incredible, but their live show is one-of-a-kind. Don't miss this opportunity... they may be "local" to VA, but they're in the area a lot less than you would think!
