Sidewinders Steakhouse and Saloon and new promoter Touch The Sky Productions are teaming up again to bring in a new country act.

This time, Sweetwater Rain is on the bill, scheduled to play on March 13. The quartet, which has a Rascal-Flatts-meets-Lady-Antebellum thing going on, is doing it as an acoustic show. The band starts at 9 p.m., with opening acts to be announced.

According to an e-mail news release from Touch The Sky, “Starshine” has been the most requested song on Roanoke radio station 94.9 Star Country (WSLC-FM).  Tickets are $15 to the 21 and older show. On-sale date is Feb. 27, but if you “like” the Blue Ridge Country Concert Series facebook page and the Sidewinders facebook page, you can get yours on Feb. 26.

A portion of the admission will benefit The Blue Ridge Blues Society, according to the news release.

Check out the video for the band’s new single, “Starshine.”
