Unforgettable candidates for governor in NY, Tenn.

Earlier this year we brought you news of Basil Marceaux, a GOP candidate for governor in Tennessee.

I thought nobody could ever upstage Basil, but I was wrong again. Ladies and gentlemen, take a gander at Jimmy McMillan, running for governor of New York as candidate of the Rent is Too Damn High Party.

These guys may have no future in politics, but for both the sky the limit in showbiz.

LOL! The “Rent’s Too Damn High” dude was cracking me up yesterday — he’s hilarious!

You’re missing a lot of good material from Alvin Greene as well. Although, there’s a part of me that feels bad for him.

    Basil’s a nut; dude’s not right.

They are out there, and they’re coming to get us.

Back in my drinking days, early in the morning, I’d run into types like these: all we can do is hope there’s more sense in their lives than in their politics.

Wait a sec…Is Basil Marceaux related to Jack McGuire?

Our political system needs a little comic relief every so often. :)

Is Basil McGuire related to Jack Marceaux? Has anyone ever seen them together at the same time? Free… David Duke… Free… David Duke…

I was laughing my ass off at 3 in the morning watching highlights of the Rent Is Too Dam High candidate. Dude is actually a decent speaker, stays on topic…more or less.

The joke here is that the architect of the foreclosure scandel..Cuomo, is a shoe in for Governor…better them than us!

  10. Henry | October 20, 2010 at 8:56 pm

Anything is better than what they have now.

    HaHa….
    Sounds like George Thorogood!
    Funny as hell!
does anyone take this guy seriously?

  12. Rick | October 20, 2010 at 10:09 pm

    As a Karate Expert:

as a kickass expert I truly believe I could take you – you fake.

  13. Marked Man (Fark) | October 20, 2010 at 10:19 pm

    Really, Jack? Really??
C’mon, Dan… seriously.. we know you want everyone to rip on Jack but that shouldn’t have made it through. Its barely above the level varlock usually stoops to in his posts.

  14. Dan Casey | October 20, 2010 at 10:47 pm

    MMF,

Probably shouldn’t have let it through. It was mild by comparison of the thing he tried to get away with last night.

  15. Marked Man (Fark) | October 20, 2010 at 10:53 pm

Yeah Rick, he drinks alone… with nobody else.

“Probably shouldn’t have let it through.”

    You’re right.

    Edited. . . .

Agreed — way out of line.

Whadda ya mean “get away with”? I just cut through the PC balogny and tell it like it is.In a recent poll,57% of adults say they are sick of PC and think it is hurting the Country.Check the link below for particulars.

So tell it to someone who cares, Jack. We don’t want to see it.

  21. Steve C | October 21, 2010 at 5:32 pm

    Jack,

Hitting the sauce a little early again?

  22. Dan Casey | October 21, 2010 at 6:43 pm

Jack, did you even read that article?

There was NOTHING in their about the public believing schools have gone to hell because of all the black teachers in them.

And that was what your stupid and stigmatizing post was all about.

  23. Kristen | October 22, 2010 at 9:02 am

Jack, you might want to let up a little on the glue sniffing. It’s not working out for you.

  24. Sandi Saunders | October 22, 2010 at 9:32 am

Oh yeah, just cutting “through the PC balogny and tell it like it is” alright. And it “is” disgusting, racist, bigoted, white trash ignorant and wrong. How is that for telling it like it is and leaving out the PC baloney?

  25. Other John | October 22, 2010 at 9:48 am

Sounds more like one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer…stuck on repeat.

About this blog

Metro Columnist Dan Casey knows a little bit about a lot of things but not a heck of a lot about most things. That doesn't keep him from writing about them, however. So keep him honest!

He welcomes your rants, raves and considered opinions, so long as the language is civil (i.e. no four-letter words). He'll read all your posts and may or may not respond.
