Your daily Letter to the Editor — Feb. 13, 2012
He doesn’t read Dan’s column — but he writes letters to the editor about it!
Jesse Richardson had it right when he called Dan Casey’s writings silly, and I would also add offensive to the list (“Casey’s gripes are nonsense,” Feb. 7).
I think we all understand the difference between a reporter and a columnist (“Columnist’s critic doesn’t understand,” Feb. 9 letter).
In truth, I stopped reading Casey’s columns a long time ago. What prompted this? Seeing his name in the letters section of The Times. Casey does one thing well, and that is to stir the pot with no sense of fair play.

I really object to Mark calling Dan “offensive”. Liberals get offended by conservatives, not the other way around. The first person to get offended in an arguement loses.(and that is why Dan posted this letter.)
If you really want to get on Dan’s nerves, compliment him for his help promoting liberal causes. Thank him for giving a voice to the young, healthy, but scummy OWS crowd and promoting their self pity.
Whatever you do, DO NOT GET OFFENDED. Dan lives for those letters.

Terps is so right, it is always the liberals here expressing outrage, offense and losing the arguments….in his dreams anyway.

I’ve known Mark for 14 years…and he’s got a point. Dan is a columnist, not a reporter. And what do columnists do??? They get paid to stir the pot. Take it for what it is…and that’s not much.
