After several mind-numbing exchanges with the blogger known as Sandi Saunders this morning, I am revisiting an idea I’ve tossed around lately: instituting a fee structure for my time on the blog. Based on last year’s returns, I’m thinking of charging about $800 an hour for the dyspeptic sensations I have to endure listening to the circular dimwitted uninformed opinions of libs in here. If I charged such a fee, perhaps it would make folks think twice about posting dunderheaded drivel.

I hate to sound arrogant, but the intellectual disparity I encounter in here is truly a cross I bear. Stooping down to endure the simpleton unreasonable, illogical stuff is getting to be more than I can stand. But charging a fee might make it bearable. And at $800 an hour, even if it’s two months rent on your mobile homes, it would be a bargain for you.

As an illustration, can you imagine a giant thinker like Rush Limbaugh sitting in a bar listening to some plastered moron’s political views? How long would he put up with it? Three seconds?. Well that’s very much how I feel, so why should I put up with it?

And having to continually re-explain cases I’ve made months ago, then leftwingers returning to the same disproven statements — well, that’s very similar to getting my toenails yanked out one by one with a pair of heavy-duty pump pliers. So I want compensation.

  2. Suzie | April 30, 2012 at 11:01 am

Me conversing with the blog’s liberals is like Condoleeza Rice discussing foreign affairs with Charo. It’s like Benjamin Netanyahu listening to Snoop Dog’s opinions on Israel. It’s like Milton Friedman talking the economy with Junior Samples.

“Obama’s health care bill is not a health care bill, instead it’s a total government takeover of every area of life (read the fine print) like gun confiscation, euthanasia and so on (euthanizing the poor, the elderly, the ill, those who’ve maxed out their health insurance and so on) there are no jobs and everyone will eventually be poor,” the flyers read, according to MLive.com.”

    Just like Hitler!!

  4. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 1:25 pm

Suze, already I make a donation to a liberal cause for every post you make.

gdad and Kristen make donations, too. Kristen, don’t you contribute to Planned Parenthood for every post Suzie makes?

  5. John Wilburn | April 30, 2012 at 1:37 pm

Suzie, Are you still starving this badly for attention?

  6. dave | April 30, 2012 at 1:37 pm

    Dan

Yanking out her toenails with heavy duty pliers sounds like a good idea. Is there a possibility you could take care of that for us. At the very least I think some heavy duty waterboarding is in order. Maybe we could hire Dick Cheney or contract with Halliburton to come take care of that for us. After all, they’re all about the cash, just like she is.And as a good Catholic, I’m really surprised she didn’t sasy anything about using the rack. That seems to have been an important tool for them in previous inquisitions.

  7. gdad | April 30, 2012 at 1:46 pm

#1 “Well that’s very much how I feel, so why should I put up with it?”

There’s a simple solution — leave and don’t come back.

Wow, and suzie, who apparently couldn’t think of that all on its own, accuses liberals of being dumb.

  8. Kristen | April 30, 2012 at 1:55 pm

Dan, and in her honor! Maybe I should throw in Habitat for Humanity while I’m at it….I know Jimmy Carter would appreciate her support.

  9. Blacksburg Suz | April 30, 2012 at 1:57 pm

    Dan,
Please tell us that Suzie is a figment of your imagination – your attempt to stir up the pot. She cannot be real. It’s impossible for me to imagine anyone that self-absorbed, arrogant, and self-deluded. I want to gag reading her posts.

  10. Suzie | April 30, 2012 at 1:59 pm

Suzie, Are you still starving this badly for attention?

Leave it to John Wilburn to defend Sandi. it’s great when folks with the same degree of intelligence stick together.

  11. gdad | April 30, 2012 at 2:05 pm

#4 Absolutely, Dan, but she posts so much sometimes that it’s hard to keep up. Strange behavior for somebody who hates a place so much.

  12. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 2:11 pm

Is there anyone who will agree to make a small donation to the National Abortion Rights Action League, for each comment Suzie posts here?

    Hillary?

  13. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 2:12 pm

    Blacksburg Suz,

I swear I’m not making her up. And if someone else is, I’m unaware of that.

  14. Warren | April 30, 2012 at 2:13 pm

“Obama’s health care bill is not a health care bill, instead it’s a total government takeover of every area of life (read the fine print)”

Yeah, well, scoff if you like, you damn libbie coms, but just remember:

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of maritime navigation rules!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of casting for television commercials!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of stamp collecting!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of
    broom sales!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of button sewing!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of NFL schedules!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of hairstyles!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of belt, shoe, and handbag matching!!!

Obama’s healthcare bill is a total government takeover of booger disposal!!!

And that’s just the tip of the facist iceberg, because Obama’s healthcare bill is even a total government takeover of icebergs!!!

  15. Dave Hicks | April 30, 2012 at 2:14 pm

Here I thought Suzie believed in the free market — where demand for a product or service set the price.

Now she wants to evoke some sort of price fixing via a Plutocracy / Timocracy (or maybe she is delusional enough to believe that she represents a member of a Meritocracy).

    Whodathunk

FWIIW, I willing to pay her for what her advice is actually worth, to me. Now that is the free market.

    .
    ;-)

    .

OTOH, Dan could set up a great get rich scheme. Heck, in short order he would be able to own the RT.

All he needs to do if to buy Suzie’s contributions for what they are actually worth and then turn around and sell them for what she thinks they are worth — talk about a mark-up.

Nah. Not enough suckers in the world.

    .
    :-)

  16. Hillary | April 30, 2012 at 2:20 pm

#1&2 – A typical deluded ranting to fill the void which would normally be occupied by constructive thoughts, it is hoping to crowd out any substantive discussion on this blog, on any issue – and as always, most ill-informed is lacking any self analysis or introspection of her own inferior and delusional “intellect”.

To paraphrase Eleanor Roosevelt as a great example of most ill-informed:
“Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss themselves [actual quote "people"]…

Most ill-informed you have a real inferior/persecution complex coupled with a serious personality disorder, please seek help…you seem to be going downhill fast…

  17. Hillary | April 30, 2012 at 2:24 pm

Sure Dan I’ll kick in to *NAR or Planned Parenthood anytime…Who will keep track of her delusional rantings…reading more than one or two of her posts make my eyes bleed…

    Not NRA!

  18. Yupbilly | April 30, 2012 at 2:27 pm

Let’s let the free market decide what Suzie’s per hour rate should be. Sort of a supply and demand example for the bloggers. I am assuming that all of her comments to date have been “free samples”. Now that we’re hooked, she’s gonna charge for her services. What do you fellow bloggers feel is a fair market value for Suzie’s comments?

Maybe we should charge her by the hour to read her posts? If so, what should that rate be?

Just another friendly post from your SWVA, Gomerish, t’backer chewin, Red Man hat wearin’, redneck rube—-Yupbilly

  19. dave | April 30, 2012 at 2:27 pm

    Dan

I’ll go for a nickel a post for the next 30 days. Nothing she says is worth more than that. You count the posts and give me a total at the end of the month. I challenge my fellow bloggers who detest her bigotry to do the same.

  20. Henry | April 30, 2012 at 2:36 pm

“Is there anyone who will agree to make a small donation to the National Abortion Rights Action League, for each comment Suzie posts here?”

I’ll kill a puppy for every post. Is that good enough or do you require a child?

  21. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 2:39 pm

Under Obama’s healthcare bill, a husband and wife can have sex only on Monday mornings!

AND, under Obama’s healthcare bill, you can no longer pack your own child’s school lunch!

(Jamie Radtke is going to fix that last one, tho, if she gets elected to the U.S. Senate).

  22. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 2:41 pm

    dave,

Are you going to donate to Planned Parenthood or NARAL?

  23. Sandi Saunders | April 30, 2012 at 2:53 pm

Sorry Suzie, as the blog’s poison piñata, it appears you do not know how this works. We take swings at you, you take the hit and come back for more, kinda sick in truth.

You may stop your exercise in showing how low and ignorant you can be, any time you like. You are worth exactly what listeners pay for FlimFlambaugh and bloggers pay for you…nothing.

Truthfully sis, you do more for liberal causes and ideology than any ten real and genuine conservatives could. Just like your herpetic hero, FlimFlambaugh, you give us something to hate and revile, a focus if you will. Priceless, I agree, but you are also a dime a dozen. When you stop, a new one starts up, or Lake Claytor comes back. Funny thing is, if some liberal behaved like you do on a conservative site, you would be the first to want to “ban them”.

  24. Blacksburg Suz | April 30, 2012 at 2:57 pm

    dave,
I like the nickel-a-post idea. For the month of May I’ll donate a nickel for each post to…hmmmm…maybe the Obama ReElection Campaign? Organizing for Progress?? I could do Planned Parenhood but they may already be covered. And do I have to read them or could I just go with Dan’s count? I would pay NOT to read them.

  25. Blacksburg Suz | April 30, 2012 at 3:01 pm

Suzie is a Catholic (much to my Catholic shame) so maybe I’ll kick the nickel-a-post in for the Leadership Conference of Women Religious who have been reprimanded by the Vatican for being “uppity”.

  26. terps | April 30, 2012 at 3:08 pm

Ows is threatening to shut down the Brooklyn Bridge tomorrow. GDAD, you must be swelling with pride.

  27. Lynda K | April 30, 2012 at 3:11 pm

Under Obama’s healthcare bill, a patient must pray aloud to Obama each and every time they receive a life saving injection, pill. or suppository. That prayer must be recorded and uploaded to PrayersToObama.com. :-)

  28. Jayne | April 30, 2012 at 3:11 pm

I have found that those who scream the loudest about “entitlements” often feel themselves to be the most entitled. Case in point, Suzie.

I’ll split my donations for Suzie’s posts between Planned Parenthood and the Obama campaign.

  29. Laura | April 30, 2012 at 3:20 pm

#1–Why are you on here whining and judging other people (2 things Christians aren’t supposed to do, btw) instead of getting off you keyboard and helping others?

Why are you not organizing a food drive to help your/our starving neighbors?

Why are you not helping build someone a house so they can get out of that mobile home or rent controlled apartment?

Why are you not teaching someone English or how to read instead of belittling other people’s inadequacies?

But most of all, why are you not loving your enemy as your neighbor? Isn’t that Christians are supposed to do?

  30. Dave Hicks | April 30, 2012 at 3:36 pm

Re: the discussion on the healthcare law

    Dan,

Given your suggestion / contention that the Constitutional clauses are limited to the technology in existence in the 1700′s (see: April 29, 2012 @ 9:41 pm on http://tinyurl.com/bns4f63 ), should not the whole Healthcare law be declared void?

If your argument yesterday is your honest position, then Article I, Section 8, Clause 3 cannot apply to or be used to regulate today’s healthcare technology.

    .
    ;-)

    .

  31. dave | April 30, 2012 at 3:40 pm

    Dan

Whichever one pisses her off the most is fine with me. Probably Planned Parenthood since that seems to be the one she and Rethuglicans are most intent on destroying. Come on folks. We need about fifty more people to take up this challenge.

  32. Art Hill | April 30, 2012 at 3:43 pm

    Old man Henry’s gotten weird.

  33. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 3:55 pm

My, my! Suzie seems to be raising a lot of money for liberal and pro-choice organizations today. Every post she makes will drive more money to those causes.

  34. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 3:59 pm

    Dave Hicks,

You’re the one who believes the FF meant “firearms,” in the 2A, and who is willing to put limits on what the FF meant. I’m an absolutist.I believe that when they wrote “arms,” they meant “arms.”

I’m saving up for my cruise missile now and I’ll expect the VCDL will defend my right to own one when I get busted.

  35. Sandi Saunders | April 30, 2012 at 4:07 pm

Not sure the legal system cares if you abort puppies Henry, of course if you are not a veterinarian, it might be a problem, but EITHER works for me because you can’t blog from prison.

  36. gdad | April 30, 2012 at 4:15 pm

#26 Gosh, terps, if you hadn’t posted it I wouldn’t have known. I’m sure they’re extremely grateful to you for the extra publicity. Maybe you can shut own Carilion tomorrow.

  37. terps | April 30, 2012 at 4:49 pm

    GDAD
How can you not know? Just ask Dave. Remember, “when spring comes” OWS was going to change the world. In other words, the government was going to gauranty all slackers get a check. BTW, when is the Virginia convention foe OWS. I don’t want to miss that.

  38. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 4:50 pm

terps, May 19, Elmwood Park. Be there or be nowhere. . .

  39. gdad | April 30, 2012 at 4:56 pm

#37 Well, you see, terps, unlike you, I don’t follow every move that OWS makes. I’m not all that fascinated with it and apparently neither is the MSM now. And since I’m not a slacker, there’s no way I would have known if the government had started handing out checks.

I really only started commenting on OWS when you started making up all these things about the Roanoke version that weren’t true. And it seemed like to me that some of the folks from the blog who visited the Roanoke occupiers did so partly in response to your ridiculous comments. So, you, see, you succeeded in generating even more notice for the movement. Maybe they should hire you as their PR director.

  40. gdad | April 30, 2012 at 4:57 pm

#38 Well, now that terps has gotten my interest all fired up again, maybe I’ll drop by the park May 19. Thanks for reminding me of the Roanoke folks, terps!!!

  41. Dave Hicks | April 30, 2012 at 5:08 pm

    Re: Comment by Dan Casey — April 30, 2012 @ 3:59 pm

    Dan,

Good to have you on board. I trust you will be true to your word and not introduce any more threads or write any more columns in any ways supporting more restrictions on any subset of the that lie on vast the continuum of weapons protected by the RKBA. I’m sure you will be true to your word.

    .
    :-)

    .

BTW, Dan, where did I indicate that I was the one who believes the FF meant “firearms”? At the philosophical / constitutional level I have consistently talked about supporting a CWP in place of a CHP — or better yet Constitutional Carry of any weapon not restricted my reasonable law & regulation.

Now, when someone else starts a thread about guns or comments about restricting that subset of weapons, it is natural that I refer to the subset of weapons under discussion.

    ———-

Note to all: Note I neither mentioned or introduced the RKBA, weapons, guns etc into this thread. All I introduced was a general concept of Dan’s as to the Constitution and technology.

  42. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 5:18 pm

    Dave Hicks,

You did it when you suggested that “firearms” are the”arms” the FF meant.

  43. Debbie | April 30, 2012 at 5:29 pm

For every post that Suzie makes, I will make a donation to the DNC and the DSCC.

  44. 13 Suns | April 30, 2012 at 5:39 pm

I’ll split my donation between Planned Parenthood and Ron’s college. I’ll trust Dan to forward my check to Ron.

I’m willing to do 2¢ per post. We’re not counting ‘deleted’ or unapproved posts though, are we?

    :-)

  45. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 5:50 pm

    13 Suns,

It applies only to approved posts. Almost all of Suzie’s are approved, anyway. You might be shorting those worthy organizations by a dime or so by skipping the trashed ones.

    On this thread?

Prior to you introducing the subject at Comment by Dan Casey — April 30, 2012 @ 5:18 pm?

Why do you need to turn threads into gun threads, Dan?

  48. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 7:15 pm

There is a bill in OK that bans human fetuses from being used in food.

Coming to Virginia soon, no doubt!

  49. Debbie | April 30, 2012 at 7:30 pm

Now Dan, you know every state needs an anti-cannibal bill. Cannibalism being so prevalent in this country. That would take the term “baby food” to a whole new level.

    Satire font off now.

  50. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 7:56 pm

The level to which the GOP has sunk is literally sick. They are exhibiting classic signs of mental illness.

They want to protect home-packed school lunches that don’t need protecting. They want to drug test people who don’t take drugs. They want to ban human fetuses from food., WTF? There are no fetuses in food. Is that law supposed to be a “just-in-case” measure? I mean, really.

And they want to stick vaginal ultrasound probes in pregnant women. Not all pregnant women, mind you. Only the ones who want to end their pregnancies. The women who want to stay pregnant (and who are much more likely to need ultrasounds) do not have to have them. They get a pass.

  51. Suzie | April 30, 2012 at 7:56 pm

A particularly ghoulish practice of the baby-killing merchants is the selling of fetal body parts on the black market.
But you know, these are just everyday folks like you and me, concerned with nothing more than women’s health. Everybody does this. Why, I’ll bet my RN friend has a few baby spleens in her freezer right now.

  52. Dan Casey | April 30, 2012 at 7:59 pm

The world production of oil set a new record in December of 75.384 million barrels of oil a day. The last record was set 75.170 million barrels was set January 2011. “What Happened To Peak Oil? By James Picerno of The Capital Speculator”

So why has the GOP claimed Obama has limited oil production when in fact oil production is higher than ever. In the US, the use of oil has decreased by 10% due to alternative fuels, better mileage rates, and the recession and has become less dependent on Middle Eastern Oil. Other than the recession, all good things accomplished by the current Administration.

However, the BRICS are using much more oil as their economy grows and the supply is not keeping up with demand. The solution remains, even with more production, to move toward alternative fuels.

The other major trend shaping the economy in SW VA is the move from coal to natural gas in utility production. The abundance of lower cost natural gas is rapidly changing electricity production. While the GOP has tried to place the blame for the slowing of the use of coal on the current administration, it simply is the free market at work an natural gas is winning the competition. Natural gas is not only cheaper for the utilities to burn, it is cleaner as well and is quickly taking over. However, coal is not lost. Coal is being exported at an increasing rate to countries with limited natural gas. Electrical customers should begin to feel the change to natural gas in their pocketbooks, but this time in a good way as the cost of electricity should begin to drop.

  70. Kristen | May 1, 2012 at 9:06 am

I’m in for a nickle a post so that makes $1.10 so far. I’ll throw yesterday into May’s total and get a check out at the end of the month.

  71. Other John | May 1, 2012 at 9:17 am

RJB…at least until demand forces natural gas prices upward anyway. The new hybrid energy plant built by Dominion Electric out in Virginia City between St. Paul and Coeburn is a pretty cool site to behold. They truck in local coal from surrounding mining operations to operate the plant.

As for the charity tag…just make a summary posting at month’s end with the total, I’m not able to check and keep up with daily subtotals too well.

  72. Blacksburg Suz | May 1, 2012 at 9:43 am

Thanks for the tally Dan! I may have to double down for every time she uses the term “monkey boy”.

  73. Suzie | May 1, 2012 at 10:39 am

I will applaud any effort trying to get liberals to donate their own resources to charity, since study after study pegs liberal Democrats as incredibly cheap and stingy when it comes to giving.

Oh, wait. These aren’t charities. Abortion mills are BIG business. And wait. These people are lying anyway. They have no intention of sending a dime to anyone.

Since Suzie is generally pro-gun rights, I’ve been shopping for not just a secular gun rights organization, but an atheist one. This is not really what I’m looking for to donate for each Suzie post, but is quite funny.

  76. Suzie | May 1, 2012 at 11:00 am

I assume she’s talking about GWB. Because total employment went down during his first term.

    http://gregor.us/economics/total-employment-in-the-us-falls-again/

    According to the graph:

    Total jobs January, 2001 = @137.9 million
    Total jobs January 2005 = @140.1 million

    LOL
    LOL
    LOL

And that, ladies and gentlemen was my 10,000th straight victory in this blog dating back to January 13, 2010. One would think after that kind of string, folks would stop challenging and stop posting bogus figures they know I’ll destroy…..But they don’t. I guess nobody ever claimed liberals were very bright, did they?

I think 10,000 straight warrants a post of the day. Maybe I should come up with a prize for my 10,000 straight victim. Perhaps a book that will educate them. Maybe “Think and Grow Rich” or something by Ann Coulter.

  77. Sandi Saunders | May 1, 2012 at 11:01 am

When people would actually donate money to what you call an “abortion mill”, it might make you think that instead of helping the issue, you have hurt it. Not of course in the twisted deviant minds of Suzie, Maloof, Henry, Lake C or Pistol, but for normal people.

Suzie, you and your minions here are the poster children that liberals dream of. You are so easy to refute and despise that it truly works to keep us motivated and active and it makes everything you say that much easier to ignore or not believe. There is no apathy or mealy mouthed activism when contact with you all daily is to be found. Your lack of credibility and integrity works to our advantage, every time. Next to you all, we look so good.

Obama has not finished his first term. You’re just picking dates and numbers. Anybody can do that. This nation lost more than 1 million jobs during Bush’s first two years in office. LOL LOL

  80. Debbie | May 1, 2012 at 11:55 am

Thanks for the tally, Dan.. I’ll be sending checks out today to the DNC and DSCC. Then the 1st of each month after that. My causes thank you, Suzie.

  81. gdad | May 1, 2012 at 12:00 pm

#74 Nope, suzie, you linked to some nutty or minor site. And when you linked to it, the story had already been disproven and even denied by right wingers and Republicans in Wisconsin. You were simply hoping nobody would check on your “source,” which had thoroughly discredited a couple of weeks before you posted.

  82. Suzie | May 1, 2012 at 12:01 pm

You’re just picking dates and numbers. Anybody can do that.

No, I picked the dates and numbers that coincided with Bush’s first term. You said he lost jobs during that first term. He didn’t. Please don’t try to tarnish this great man to justify your failure of a president.

  83. Sandi Saunders | May 1, 2012 at 12:40 pm

Funny how willing you are for Obama to take the blame for the Bush job losses. 30+ years of digging leaves a deep hole. Typical and pathetic.

  84. Suzie | May 1, 2012 at 2:57 pm

74 Nope, suzie, you linked to some nutty or minor site.

Nope. It was the Milwaukee Journal Sentilnel reporting on what a state official said.

  85. gdad | May 1, 2012 at 3:06 pm

#84 Nope, at one point you linked to some weird site that was linking to an old story that had been completely disproven. You did this WAY after state officials had already disavowed the story AND after we had noted on this blog that it was a lie. Bottom line: It WAS a lie. And you either knew it or were displaying your ignorance in not knowing it.

  86. Suzie | May 1, 2012 at 3:16 pm

    Crickets from Gdad. Surprise. Surprise.

So Gdad, since I totally busted your ass and outed your continual lie on this MSM story of the $7 million damage claim for the Wisconsin state capito grounds, can we assume you will shut the hell up on the topic from here on out?

  87. dave | May 1, 2012 at 5:22 pm

A state oficial? Meaning someone from Scott Walker’s office. Lots of luck on the accuracy of that one. Instead of governing Wisconsin, Walker has spent the last 7 months out of the state begging for money from every right wing multimillionaire that he can find. So far he’s raised over 13 million dollars, almost all of it from out of state groups and individuals.

Since you like to reference blogs:

President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long one. That’s almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office.

His job-creation record won’t look much better. The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years, a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clinton‘s administration and only slightly better than President George H.W. Bush did in his four years in office.

    http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/01/09/bush-on-jobs-the-worst-track-record-on-record/

    Pretty nifty chart.

Obama has saved as many jobs as Bush “created”.

  95. Warren | May 1, 2012 at 8:18 pm

A byproduct of the insta-news culture that we have now is the chronic devaluation of the phrase “Breaking News”. Whether broadcast or ‘net, the red lettered “Breaking News!” designation is used for its’ perceived ability to stand out of the clutter, and has come to be used whenever there is anything remotely newsworthy that can be called “breaking”, for as long as possible until another “breaking” item comes along.

As I type this there is a “Breaking News” red letter alert at the top of the page telling us that Salem Council incumbents were re-elected. Yes, that’s the same Salem Council incumbents who were running unopposed, in a vote that had 3% voter participation. In more Breaking News, Roanoke.com editor uses the least “Breaking News” in RT history!

This is kind of along the same lines:
I’ve often thought the same thing about standing ovations. Used to be, the person(s) receiving a standing ovation had to have really accomplished something great, or had to have given a near flawless performance in their field of talent. Now it seems like all anyone has to do to receive a standing O is stop talking or performing, whether it was all that great or not.

Id say too she-s quite reclusive socially.
But this thing about selling specialized parts for school buses

Maybe they train 8 year olds to drive them.

Maybe there-ll be a special news bulletin on Fox News someday..

Stay tuned…Fox already has the crawler composed.

According to Bureau of labor statistics:

Total employment as of Jan 2009 was 141,714,000.
As a result of the Bush recession by the end of June 2009 total number of employed had decreased to less than 139,000,000. At the end of July 2011, total employment had increased back to 139,295,000. As of January 2012,
total employmentwas back up to 141,637,000. Figures are not yet available for the end of April, but the economy has added jobs each of the last three months and total employment is now above what the total employment level was when Bush left office. The 3.8 million jobs lost is a figment of the right wing’s imagination. The economyt is pulling out of the Bush recession. As much as we’d allike to see it go faster, returning to the Bush policies of the first 8 years of this century aand doubling down on them as Romney and Paul Ryan would have us do is a recipe for unmitigated disaster.

Yes indeed, it does appear that “the article in my link was written March 3, 2011 by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel business reporter Don Walker quoting Cari Anne Renlund, chief legal counsel for the state Department of Administration“. And perhaps only one of them was lying, or had an ax to grind, or was misinformed, or was serving an agenda. No, princess. I reported this story, and Gdad said I made it up. Then he revised his story to claim a blogger said it. Now I’ve shown it was the work of a MSM reporter. And yet you, Kristen, and Dan still stuck to the blog story.

I hope Michael Howdyshell is reading this. He’s the one who graciously gave you three credit for sincere beliefs and well-thought-out opinions. Now it turns out I was right. I don’t want your version of “politeness”. Something tells me it mirrors your efforts at honesty and integrity, meaning it does not exist.

The post from your “reporter” was made on a blog. Therefore he is a blogger and it was on a blog. Doubtless he threw it up before doing any more research and he has since been proven to have posted a lie (and a big one), which you have yet to acknowledge. No idea if he has.

YOU are the one here trying to curry favor with Michael Howdyshell. Which is odd considering he agrees with you and loves you for doing what he will not. Whatever.

  133. Warren | May 2, 2012 at 12:40 pm

Miriam, what I always get a laugh from is when reviewers describe a performance as receiving a “near standing ovation”; I’ve read that phrase more than once. Does that mean the audience sort of squatted up out of their seats, or that only the front rows stood?

  134. Lauren Watson | May 2, 2012 at 3:13 pm

    Gdad
From what I gather, Suzie said the story came from a MSM source and you said it didn’t. She proved it did, so you should do what a gentleman would do and apologize.

  135. gdad | May 2, 2012 at 4:51 pm

#134 Lauren, you’re apparently new here and obviously haven’t the slightest idea about suzie and her trolling yet. suzie apparently did indeed find an MSM source that ran one story but in the past she also linked to some obscure nutbag source — and she did it well after everybody, including the Wisconsin Republicans, had acknowledged that the $7 million damage estimate was completely false. That link was what I was referring to, but my main point was that she posted this long after she knew the story was a lie (either that or she was actually stupid enough to believe that painters tape could cause major damage to marble). This is standard procedure for troll suzie.

THEN, she posted on here that I had attributed the story to a “blogger,” which I never said. This is also SOP for troll suzie — misquote people or attribute something to them that they never said. Believe me, Lauren, if the roles had been reversed and I accused her of saying “blogger,” she’d be all over me denying she ever used that word. She’s also probably throw in a few insults about my intelligence. She absolutely positively wouldn’t apologize for anything.

Of course I’m replying to somebody who thinks suzie’s vile insults of our president are funny, so what’s the use?

  136. gdad | May 2, 2012 at 4:54 pm
