Oh snap.
“They can be a force in primaries, but it’s not like they’re an organized force. It’s more like an organized mob,” Feehery said. “It’s viewed through the prism of ‘these guys don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.’”
I think this just about says it all:
While Republicans often blame the outsized deficits under Obama on spending, a key reason the 2011 deficit was so high was tax cuts.
Obama and the Republicans cut an $858 billion tax compromise that extended the Bush tax cuts for two years. It also enacted a one-year Social Security tax holiday and reduced the estate tax.
All told, the tax cut compromise added about $410 billion to the 2011 deficit, the CBO estimated.

OMG, the Vatican has hired Fox “reporter” Greg Burke to spin all the bad news for them. Things must be really bad.
For the Libertarian supporters of Ron Paul – this one’s for you.
RON PAUL: I TAKE SOCIAL SECURITY CHECKS BUT WILL ELIMINATE IT FOR OTHERS
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul […] admitted that he got a monthly Social Security check, a program that he eventually wants to eliminate.
During an interview on MSNBC, Paul insisted that he would preserve Social Security longer than some of the others in his party. “I want young people to opt out of Social Security,” the Texas congressman told MSNBC contributor Mike Barnicle
“Are you on Social Security,” The Huffington Post’s Sam Stein wondered. “Do you get Social Security checks?”
“I do,” Paul replied.
“You just told [the] younger generations that they should wean themselves off of this social contract but you haven’t done it yourself,” Stein noted.
http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/david/ron-paul-i-take-social-security-checks-will-
Well of course not – what’s good for the goose, is NOT good for the libertarian gander in Ron Paul’s tinfoil-hat society…
Rersponding to will’s BS in the SCOTUS contest thread:
#71: I understand Sandi. You have a warped view of history and a warped view of Christianity. No true Christian would have supported Hitler at that time anymore than any true Christian can support abortion in our time. Your human reasoning has squelched your God given conscience and you have built for yourself a graven image of God that fits your particular world view.
You accuse me of not practicing what I preach and when I offer to show you the fruit of my labor you say I’m a whiner and don’t know God. I pray that God will remove the blinders of this world system from your eyes and reveal truth to your heart before you step out into eternity without Him.
As I told Kristen I am not your enemy.
Comment by will — June 22, 2012 @ 4:29 pm”
Wrong again will, anyone who distorts God for their own purposes is my enemy. You are a champion in that regard. You claim it is me who has “warped” both history and Christianity when that is clearly you.
There is no doubt that “true Christian” people DID support Hitler and work in his armies. It is also true that many “true Christian” people can and do support a woman’s right to choose her path. That is not “supporting abortion” it is supporting women.
My “human reasoning” has overcome the man made construct of God presented in the Bible and misinterpreted in many pulpits and homes. Jesus Christ NEVER condemned the sinner who repented. “Go and sin no more” were His words, not mine.
My “God given conscience” informs me that to forgive, to act justly, to love God and my neighbor is my most high calling. You cannot dispute that truth. It is you who worships and serves that “graven image of God that fits your particular world view”. Find His condemnation in the Bible. Show it to me.
The “fruit of my labor” I will repeat the words of my Lord: “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.”
I will never “step out” without God, but I will never embrace your projection of Him. I am sick and tired of you hypocrites judging my relationship with God when I know the Bible and the God of creation tells me not to follow. “Watch out that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name,.. At that time many will turn away from the faith… and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.”
Hey guys, I have a money-making plan for all of you, but I’ll need your help.
My plan is to get the Nobel Committee to demand Paul Krugman return his $1.4 million prize for economics he received in 2008 and give it to me. Why should they do that? Simple. Krugman has since proven he utterly incompetent as he has given very bad advice to our leaders and those of Europe and said some really nutty things.
Now that Idiot Boy’s two-trillion dollar “stimulus” programs have sunk the economy into deeper depression, Krugman demands he spend even more on union jobs. Huh? He wants to double down on failure. His advice to Europe was also to increase spending. Greece followed his advice. Germany didn’t. Greece is bankrupt. Germany is doing better than everybody else over there.
In his columns, Krugman has said wars create prosperity because government spending causes prosperity. Except apparently when it comes to Republican wars. Krugman partially blames Bush’s spending in Iraq for getting this country into its current downturn. But all Democrat wars help the economy, I guess.
I, on the other hand, sitting right here in my la-z-boy proclaimed idiot Boy’s massive spending would make the economy worse; not better. I was right. I said the government cannot create net jobs and lower unemployment by giving payback to unions. I was again correct. I said it would be a horrible decision for Greece and other socialist European countries to go on spending sprees in the midst of a depression. Right again. And I pointed out that wars or any artificial spending did not end the Great Depression. Right for a fourth time. So I am ahead of Krugman on four big points. Had the world and the United States listened to Suzie, we wouldn’t have had to endure the 0bama depression, and Greece wouldn’t be in bankruptcy.
So I urge each of you to petition, cajole, badger the Nobel Committee to demand idiot Krugman’s $1.4 million dollars back and give it to me. In return, I will split it evenly with everyone who helps out. We can have an eyeball party at Wasena Park, Fork in the Alley or some other favorite leftwing haunt and I will distribute the checks there. If 20 of us participate, it’s $70,000 apiece. For some of you like Kristen or Sandi, that’s four years’ wages!! Or maybe I should have the Nobel people divvy it up directly to y’all so you can feel the pleasure of bumping up to a higher tax bracket. Sorry you can’t feel my total pain at tax time, but this will give you an inkling.
I will also lobby for Krugman’s chair at Princeton. If he’s this wrong on mammoth world economic issues, he’s likely wrong on everything else he teaches. Although I can’t talk much M1 M2 M3 stuff, etc, all I have to do is write one thing on the board for each class, “The way to prosperity, either privately or publicly is never to spend more than you have”. Every day they’d read that. And be infinitely ahead of where’d they’d have been with Krugman
Let’s see if we can get this done. If it works, hell, I’ll donate my share to flying you people to Oslo in December. There is only one problem I foresee; Nobel has had to cut way back on prize money and possibly the award party scene. So we may only get half the amount (like future winners will receive). This is due to the interest on the $500 million endowment dropping due to the bad economy (fueled in part by Krugman’s bad advice). Ironic, isn’t it? But anyhow, you’ll all be surrounded by other empty-headed liberals and we can party into the night.
Who’s in?
The Republicans are only targeting Holder because he is enforcing election laws. The Republicans don’t care a whit about the ‘Fast and Furious’ program, and especially Issa, who voted for GW Bush’s similar program in 2007. What republicans want is for Holder to drop the probe into voter suppression in Florida, by distracting him with a phony “probe”. So is anyone surprised with this little news tidbit released late Sunday afternoon?
ISSA: NO EVIDENCE SO FAR OF WHITE HOUSE COVER-UP
Sunday June 24, 2012
WASHINGTON (AP) —“ Congress doesn’t have any evidence so far of a White House cover-up involving a botched gun-tracking operation, a top Republican said Sunday, countering the House speaker’s assertion that President Barack Obama or his aides deliberately misled lawmakers.”

Hey Suzie, we don’t care.
Suz,
Ingenious plan. Too bad I couldn’t make it through all nine paragraphs of your brilliant little economic theory so I just came up with a simpler plan that doesn’t cause narcolepsy. Here’s how it goes;
You cut Paul Krugman’s grass and clean his house for free. Mr. Krugman than takes the extra money he saved and buys additional goods and services. He than pees out of his 2nd story window and it runs down your back, and you find this oddly pleasurable and stimulating. This is called “trickle down” economics and it pretty much works just like that. It’s failed every single time its been tried.
Now shut up and go fix me a sandwich.
Wonder where Detroit would be without the bailout of the auto industry?
http://video.msnbc.msn.com/nightly-news/47934620/#47934620
I just had a hernia, laughing so hard at Steve C’s reply to Suze.
Basically, the Republican strategy since January 20, 2009, has been threefold:
1. Do everything humanly possible to prevent the economy from recovery;
2. Wait for 2012;
3. Run the 2012 campaign focused on the difficulty in the economy.
70 bills would probably equal the last ten years for Stevie.
SteveC
You’re a brave man if you would even consider eating a sandwich fixed for you by Suzie, especially after some of her comments from the past about eating foods with high contents of poisonous chemicals. I bet she could even ruin those 50 dollar hot dogs. Personally, I’d be afraid to feed anything she fixed to any living thing, even my dogs.
CONTEST!
Name the ingredients in a “Suzie” sandwich!
Mandatory: Each entry must begin with “First, take a pound of RWer bologna. . .”
Tax cuts played a role in digging the fiscal hole: The story gets more complicated in fiscal year 2011. The economy was in the midst of a slow recovery and the deficit topped $1 trillion for the third year in a row.
While Republicans often blame the outsized deficits under Obama on spending, a key reason the 2011 deficit was so high was tax cuts.

All told, the tax cut compromise added about $410 billion to the 2011 deficit, the CBO estimated.
That amount doesn’t even include what the Bush Tax Cuts added to the deficit each year prior to FY 2011.
“First, take a pound of RWer bologna. . .”
Add a cow patty to represent the bullsh*t….
Steve C is my new hero.
Shrillary, I thought Nancy Pelosi was the only bona fide idiot. What a totally absurd idea to think Voter Registration has a dang thing to do with Eric Holder’s lies and cover ups. I’m going to use the all caps on the next statement:
IF YOU CAN’T FIND A WAY TO HAVE AN I.D., YOU ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO VOTE!! ……….. Period, end of debate!
Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious are 2 different animals. Eric Holder is hiding something. Are you blind? Take those partisan blinders off and take a big bite of reality!!
Steve C. Now go get your shine box! (I bet I’ve used that one before)
If it gets you off the blog, go for it suz.

Liberal Ron,
It’s pretty difficult to keep calling them ‘tax cuts” after 11 years, isn’t it? Maybe the fault lies with Clinton’s 18-year-old tax increases if you’re going to play that silly game.
Also, it’s pretty funny you’re blaming the GOP for the “tax cuts” when the Democrats held a supermajority.
Isn’t it hilarious the Nobel Committee will have to cuts its prize in economics this year by 20% due to the erosion of it’s endowment fund? It’s funny because the leftwing Nobel committee has been overspending. They took Nobel laureate Paul Krugman’s advice and spent more than they have.
A delicious irony. LOL.

Re: Suzie sandwich…
“First, take a pound of RWer bologna. . .”
Tear out a few pages from Leviticus and stuff in there. Those have to get rammed down your throat. Make sure the buns are wrinkly and leathery to be accurate. The chicken breast must be from a much younger, fresher chicken than the rest of the sandwich, served open-face in a thinly-veiled attempt to fool the diner. Not available in “inferior” dark meat. The pickles have to be sour. Oh, and the slice of bologna should be a nice cut from the cow’s sphincter for obvious reasons.
Expiration date was four years ago, but it looked rotten then, so no one threw it out. Has no tuna, but smells as such…??? It is sure to make you sick every time you eat it. Hmmm…. But, to make the ill effects go away, simply ask what keeps one out of heaven or if that sandwich will be there! Disappears every time.
While advertised for $100, by the last couple days of each month, it can be had for 79 cents at your local rental car stand.

You’re in rare form tonight! Between that and the genital warts comment from the other thread you sounded surprisingly like SteveC!
The Suzie sandwich
First take a pound of RWer bologna. Age it for two weeks by letting it sit out in the sun on your patio in the summer heat. Buy a loaf of out of date rye braed and let it age until nice and moldy. Slice the bologna
with your chain saw. Prepare two slices of the moldy braed by coating with mayo from a jar whose expiration date was 1/20/2009. Place bologna slices on bread . Sprinkle liberally with ground d-con for seasoning. Cover with chocolate from the GC chocolate fountain. Put on gas mask.
Heat sandwich in microwave for 45 seconds. Place on plate with two horse biscuits specially ordered from the Romney dressage training barn.Serve with RW kool aid or unsweetened tea party tea. (Caution: In preparing be sure to wear blue latex gloves especially manufactured in a Taiwan factory established with jobs outsourced from Akron Ohio by Bain Capital)
“Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious are 2 different animals.”
Only in your feeble mind,
Sorry, Poodle. Nothing alike.
” “Operation Wide Receiver,” the Bush-era operation was run out of Tucson between 2006 and 2007, ending before Bush left office and before Fast and Furious began under Obama in 2009. The differences between it and Fast and Furious are vast, starting with the fact that Wide Receiver produced no dead bodies.
Operation Wide Receiver used the common law enforcement tactic of “controlled delivery” in which the illegal sales of weapons were allowed to take place, the movements of the weapons were closely monitored and the end purchasers were then apprehended. It involved gun-tracing, not gun-walking.”

The First Idiot has blood on his hands. All done for politics.
I know Suzie Q won’t bother to read it, but just in the off chance she will check the link below. It’s an article written a year ago by Bruce Bartlett, who worked for Reagan, Bush I, Jack Kemp & Ron Paul.
Below are just a few quotes from the article.
“It would have been one thing if the Bush tax cuts had at least bought the country a higher rate of economic growth, even temporarily. They did not. Real G.D.P. growth peaked at just 3.6 percent in 2004 before fading rapidly. Even before the crisis hit, real G.D.P. was growing less than 2 percent a year”
“Few people remember that a major justification for the 2001 tax cut was to intentionally slash the budget surplus. President Bush said this repeatedly during the 2000 campaign, and it was reiterated in his February 2001 budget document.
In this regard, at least, the Bush-era tax cuts were highly successful. According to a recent C.B.O. report, they reduced revenue by at least $2.9 trillion below what it otherwise would have been between 2001 and 2011. Slower-than-expected growth reduced revenue by another $3.5 trillion.”
“Spending was $5.6 trillion higher than the C.B.O. anticipated for a total fiscal turnaround of $12 trillion. That is how a $6 trillion projected surplus turned into a cumulative deficit of $6 trillion.”
“These facts notwithstanding, it has become a Republican talking point that the Bush tax cuts did not, in fact, reduce revenue at all — something the Bush administration itself never asserted.”
“It is hard to know where these totally erroneous ideas come from. Federal revenue fell in 2001 from 2000, again in 2002 from 2001 and again in 2003 from 2002. Revenue did not get back to its 2000 level until 2005. More important, revenue as a share of G.D.P. was lower every year of the Bush presidency than it was in 2000.”
Just the facts Maam!
http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/07/26/are-the-bush-tax-cuts-the-root-of-our-fiscal-problem/

Comment by A Beasley
Last weekend we camped at Lake Robertson Park, 12 miles outside Lexington and thought it was a great place for kids!
“Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious are 2 different animals.”
Wide Receiver was a gun tracking program, poorly conceived, that went bad and was shut down. F and F was…..God knows what. The ATF released the guns with absolutely ZERO way of tracking them. ZERO!! They didn’t even try to track them!
The BEST one can say about Holder and the ATF is that they sold some of the most violent gangs on the planet(murders, beheadings, and kidnappings) 2500 assault rifles…..just to see what would happen.
I don’t know “Art”. Why is the corrupt one Eric Holder after one of America’s finest companies, Gibson Guitars? Holder is crooked in so many ways.
Which one wants to pick up the ball and boldly state it is too much to ask a citizen to produce a valid I.D. to vote? There is still 4 full months to obtain one!
Not to throw cold water on anything, but the country couldn’t care less about this Fast and Furious tempest in the teapot.
#35 As we all know, the Dems never really actually had a super majority. Another lie from Oliver.
“Why is the corrupt one Eric Holder after one of America’s finest companies, Gibson Guitars?” Taylor and Martin must have contributed to the Dems.
Two words define Holder….Marc Rich.
Bob,
Do you base your statement that Gibson Guitars is “one of America’s finest companies” on the reviews the company’s own employees give it? Seriously, 1.8 out of 5 stars is a failing grade.
It seems to me that the department is going after the company because the company violated the Lacey Act, which was last amended in 2008 (the amended act was signed into law by President Bush).
She doesn’t know the definition of supermajority.
@35: Wrong.
“8.The Republicans are only targeting Holder because he is enforcing election laws.”
Issa has been after the documents for over a yr and a half. It is Holder’s fault we’re at this stage….at this time. Since the administration is as pure as the driven snow…..demonstrably innocent of all accusations both real and imagined….uh…releasing the documents would have ended it…uh… way before the election. ROFLMAO
Dan should have a contest on who can come up with the best reason why the adm. let 2500 guns “walk” into Mexico.
Maybe:
1) To see how many Hispanics will be killed with them?
2) To see how many US law enforcement officers are killed with them?
They had no way to track the guns.
They told no one in Mexico the guns were “coming over.”
What was their purpose??
First, take a pound of RWer bologna. Tell everyone who’ll listen (and even some who won’t) that it’s really aged prime rib. Pinch off a tiny chunk, throw it to the floor and let the children, sick and disabled fight over it. Take 3/4 of the pound and send it to Lichtenstein for future “sandwich creation” (and 18% interest). Take the remaining meat and pile it high on stale pumpernickel. Slice two $50 hot dogs lengthwise and place on empty side of sandwich. Add any number of exotic, expensive ingredients that weren’t raised/made in America and couldn’t be afforded by the peasants anyway. Devour ravenously while laughing maniacally, allowing the crumbs of your gorging to trickle down upon those children, sick and disabled. Promise them if they let you keep even more of your bologna, er, prime rib, they might even get a sandwich for themselves… next time, of course.
Kristen @39….I know for a fact that you’re not an idiot, or a moron, or anything similar. But with these facts not in dispute:
They had no way to track the guns.
They told no one in Mexico the guns were “coming over.”
This, “Not to throw cold water on anything, but the country couldn’t care less about this Fast and Furious tempest in the teapot.” sure makes you sound like one.
37.“Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious are 2 different animals.”
Plus, Bush didn’t try to hide the bodies of dead border agents behind the cloak of ex priv.!!
#43 And now BUD’s over at the RT claiming that Dems had complete control of Congress and and could do whatever they wanted in June 2010. Are right-wingers like Oliver and BUD dishonest, or are they just plain stupid? Has to be one or the other.
ingredients in a “Suzie” sandwich
☻First, take a pound of RWer bologna and grind it 24/7 until November 6, 2012 promoting its “winning recipe”.
☻While waiting for the bologna to waft its putrid odor all around, hold a free festival where clowns from TX, PA, MN, TN, AK, IN, and NY will entertain with buffoonery and hot air [balloons].
☻Hire uneducated and unknowing “sales personnel” to convince “regular” guys that the rancid, fetid stench is a new and improved “fragrance.” Advertise every minute of every day bad-mouthing the “competition” with half-truths and innuendo.
☻Begin steeping “bread” in mysterious things called derivatives and buy backs – charge customers extra for these ingredients telling them it’s what makes their sandwich special.
☻Although the other sandwich makers know this is a bad practice, they will remain silent not wishing to expose their own “secret sauces”.
☻When that grand day of November 6th rolls around, cut off 1% of the sandwich [crusts] and give it to a needy family of 4 – then hand over the 99% to the richest guy in the room – on a silver platter of course.
☻Since this “winner” knows the whole sandwich ploy is a bad deal and could kill him, he promptly donates it to a charitable organization and takes the tax deduction.
#46 Well, Phil, one reason is that the DEA was essentially leaderless and rudderless from fall 2007 through December 2010. Research has shown that an organization like this that does not have a permanent leader decays and gets to a point where the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing (so to speak). Bickering and fighting in Congress was responsible for much of this unconscionable delay.
I’m not much of a fan of Leonhart, who was originally nominated by Bush.
Not to throw cold water on anything, but the country couldn’t care less about this Fast and Furious tempest in the teapot.
Right. It’s just 200 Mexicans. That’s how 0bama should frame it in his campaign speeches.
Phil, it’s not going to change one vote. No one’s going to vote for Romney because of this.
#53 I hadn’t heard before that the killers wouldn’t have had access to any other guns. Where did you find that out, Oliver?
“Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., in bringing up the case by name unprompted, was effectively pre-empting what could come to light in a possible document dump: that the operation was planned and carried out at the field level without the knowledge of DOJ higher-ups.
In coming forward, whistleblower John Dodson claimed Fast and Furious was the work of stubborn ATF supervisors run amok. But lawyers for those Arizona supervisors have said Dodson’s role in the other “gunwalking” case undercuts his credibility as a key witness against Fast and Furious.”
Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/06/25/issa-acknowledges-fast-and-furious-whistleblower-once-proposed-gunwalking/#ixzz1ypLl2lNb
This was a witch hunt and scapegoating extraordinaire.
Issa has also admitted on record that there is zero evidence of a cover-up in the F&F “case” – http://nbcpolitics.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/06/24/12384435-rep-issa-no-evidence-of-white-house-cover-up-in-fast-and-furious-gun-running-case?lite
So… just what IS he wasting his taxpayer-provided salary on? And how many jobs has he created by “exposing” this non-coverup? Good grief! He’s like a kid that didn’t care what was in the storage room until he was told he wasn’t allowed to go in it.
And now, it’s already falling apart.
Dan, I base it on some professional musicians I know, and I’m not about to name them. The Lacey act is bs. Other folks use the wood in question with no problem. Gibson is the leader in quality made guitars, followed by Fender and Taylor are the preferred instruments of musicians. I’m a Strat Man myself.
Kristen. I believe you are being naive at best. Fast & Furious is gonna lose a good many votes for Obama. As we partisan folks on here will not be swayed, ye olde independent voter isn’t gonna gopher this F&F cover up!
#45 Phil Chitwood. Facts for you seem to be fleeting things.
Holder gave Congress over 7,000 pages of documents in the ‘Fast and Furious’ program probe. The problem is that each time Holder gave the requested documents to the Congressional committee – documents which hadn’t provided incriminating evidence of a “smoking gun” – Republicans would ask for still more documents. And yet, as I posted previously, Issa admitted with all those docs nothing suggested a “cover up”.
No rational person could assume anything but Issa playing politics and trying to divert attention from the real issue: the voter suppression going on in Florida. Florida is key to the GOP’s strategy for 2012 – and keeping the race close and then stealing the election, is the real goal. Much like what was done for GW Bush in Florida – providing him with a “win” in 2000.
It’s hard to see the steamroller coming when your head is in the sand…[or possibly another dark and dank place].
Shrilliary,
Florida is probably going Romney, with or without voter suppression. The suppression is merely a bulwark against an unlikely Obama win there.
Ohio and Virginia are the keys to the election. And that probably explains why Romney will select Ohio Sen. Rob Portman – who has experience in the House, Senate and 2 cabinet posts — as his running mate.
Well, a Republican finally admits that in PA, voter suppression is all about electing Romney [doubt it is any different in FL]:
“House Majority Leader Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) suggested that the House’s end game in passing the Voter ID law was to benefit the GOP politically.”
“Pro-Second Amendment? The Castle Doctrine, it’s done. First pro-life legislation – abortion facility regulations – in 22 years, done. Voter ID, which is gonna allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done.”
“The statement drew a loud round of applause from the audience. It also struck a nerve among critics, who called it an admission that they passed the bill to make it harder for Democrats to vote — and not to prevent voter fraud as the legislators claimed.”
http://www.politicspa.com/turzai-voter-id-law-means-romney-can-win-pa/37153/
I wouldn’t mind Romney winning if it would end the daily doses of ODS we have to see vomited here by the right wing. What is bad for America might be better for this blog. They are not looking for solutions, only to get rid of Obama. Does anyone see how that works out for them in the long run? They will still have to govern and come up with solutions they have not had for over a decade.
Let’s be honest. The only cheating that has gone on has been by Demorats. They’re the ones who disenfranchise military asbsentee voters, they’re the ones who use ACORN to recruit voters in exchange for whiskey or beer, they’re the ones who had Daley’s machine, they’re the ones who use union goons as enforcers.
Yet Demorats accuse Republicans of voter fraud which doesn’t happen. It’s the same thing as their accusing the Tea Party of violence after the mayhem, crime, and destruction their OWS dirtbags committed.
Isn’t it wonderful? The ruling is a toothless tiger because 0bama already said he won’t enforce the immigration law. The AZ cops can ID all the illegals they want, but the federal gov’t won’t do anything. Idiot Boy decides he doesn’t like a law, then doesn’t enforce it. This is every dictator’s wet dream. So what’s to keep him from trashing, say….election laws?
As usual, Scalia proved his legal mind was light years ahead of the others with his powerful common sense dissent. Whenever he offers an opinion, you say to yourself. “Of course! How could anybody disagree with that logic?”
I’m disappointed in Roberts. The whole law should clearly have been upheld. My only guess is he has become enamored of the DC cocktail circuit and wants to be liked within that group.
This was a witch hunt and scapegoating extraordinaire.
200-plus people killed because of 0bama’s desire to get American guns blamed, then a massive cover-up. That’s Watergate times 1000. Tell us why it isn’t.
“Romney will select Ohio Sen. Rob Portman”
I hear Michelle Bachmann is available.
It isn’t because it’s a lie. What a lie. Folks seeking the truth will find F&F was a tragic spinoff of a Bush gun running program known as wide receiver. Your pious bull crap is fooling no one. When the AG found out the details he put a stop to it pronto. The truth will out on this witchhunt that is going to backfire on the teabaggers in November.
#65 It’s quite simple, toots, Rethugs are trying to disenfranchise legitimate voters right and left. That’s the whole story. Nothing else to say, Oliver.
ACORN ~ I was approached by ACORN nuts at the B.B. King concert in Roanoke 2008. Too bad I didn’t smoke, could have had some Kools!
ACORN, Soros, SEIU, New Black Panthers Party, Occupy, MoveOn and yes, HuffPo and their censor happy administrators. Democrats are just plain crooked!
“ACORN ~ I was approached by ACORN nuts at the B.B. King concert in Roanoke 2008. Too bad I didn’t smoke, could have had some Kools!”
Don’t look now but I believe Bob has just admitted that musical acts worth paying for indeed do come to town.
Bob, did those ACORN folks you say approached you sign you up and force you to vote for Obama? No? You mean, it was a harmless registration drive, trying to ADD legitimate voters to the rolls (rather than kicking legitimate voters off the rolls, or setting rules that makes it harder for them to participate, like the GOP is doing, I mean).
What harm did they do by “approaching” you?
“Too bad I didn’t smoke, could have had some Kools!”
Bob, the dry-cleaner called, your sheets are ready.

ACORN was (is) paid for with taxpayer funds, not by the Democrat Party Yet they were recruiting voters for Idiot Boy and bribing folks in the process. And the leftwingers claim that’s legit.

Prove it. If it’s just your opinion, no one gives a crap.
The ATF handed over 2500 guns to violent drug gangs ….in the hope that they WOULD commit crimes with them!!
#68 “As usual, Scalia proved his legal mind was light years ahead of the others with his powerful common sense dissent.”
I have to admit, Oliver, that I was REALLY impressed with the part where Scalia read the minds of people who lived 225 years ago. Is that the part you liked, too? I wish I could learn to do that.
#72 Gee, Bob, why don’t you explain the Kools remark to us now?
Nothing to explain gdad. Democrats do indeed give out cigarettes to bums who don’t know Jack to induce them to vote ……IF …..they can find the ones without criminal records!
#77 And why did they want that, Phil? Is it time to get the tinfoil out?
I know you people are ignorant and I know it is wrong to pick on that severe weakness but do any of you geniuses think that voting is not just a Democratic Party thing? Really? How slow can a group of people be? People SHOULD register to vote. It is the ONLY thing we can do to participate in our government. No one can control the vote in the booth. Many poor and ignorant people signed up by liberals vote TP/GOP, just look in the mirror. Americans died to give us the chance to vote in free elections and it is a responsibility people SHOULD be encouraged to undertake.
Phil, I cannot help that your bitter partisan, “low effort” mentality cannot comprehend what an undercover investigation involves but the purpose was never to let the guns just walk into criminal hands and be used for that enterprise. The purpose was to get the big cartel and drug lords behind the gun buys and the drug rings instead of busting a mule now and then. The same way they infiltrate drug rings and money laundering rings and theft rings, etc. Whether you can grasp it or not, this has political ramifications for both parties as well as our relationships with South American countries. Show a thimbleful of restraint, you are a human being, not a starving Rottweiler
“Nothing to explain”
Why Kools, Bob? You’re in over your head.
#80 Oh, so bums smoke Kools, Bob?

Proe it. If it’s just your opinion no one gives a crap.
Bums smoke anything you crooked democrats will throw there way! Poor and uneducated don’t need to be enticed to vote. You’re a blooming idiot Sandi.
A concise, well-written primer on “Fast & Furious” et al — from CBS, hardly a RW faux news source.

If you read it, please tell me how “someone” is not guilty of criminally negligent homicide and/or incompetent to hold an office of trust.
If you agree, how do you believe the responsible party should be identified and dealt with?
#86 “Bums smoke anything you crooked democrats will throw there way! … Poor and uneducated don’t need to be enticed to vote. You’re a blooming idiot Sandi.”
Look, Bobby, if you want to make fun of the poor and uneducated and call another poster an idiot, you really should show at least some minimal understanding of the difference between “there,” “their,” and “they’re.” Otherwise, you’re the one who looks uneducated. And the poor and uneducated DON’T need to be enticed? Glad to hear it. Guess the Dems won’t have to stock up on “Kools” any more, right?
gdad gets me on a typo! You’re a looser! ha ha
#89 I ALWAYS nail folks when they make stupid mistakes while insulting the intelligence of others. You want to call somebody an idiot or point out some error they made? Make sure your post doing so is clean. It’s the least you can do while being an ass.
