Susan Lipes sets up the new “Most Interesting Man in the World” display on Wednesday morning, temporarily. He will be stored in the office for safety.
Susan and Robb Lipes, owners of the 7-Eleven at 2127 Crystal Spring Avenue, posted a sign on the front door of the store after a couple stole a life-size cardboard cutout of “The Most Interesting Man in the World,” Jonathan Goldsmith, 73, a self-described, “Russian Jew from New York” who is a star actor featured in Dos Equis commercials. The crime occurred on Friday night at 9:30 p.m.. The display was to be given as a prize to a donor of a MDA fundraising campaign at the store. Dos Equis sent the Lipes a replacement on Wednesday morning.
