I am in full support of anything that educates the blog’s libs on grammar and usage. They make so many mistakes that way, frankly, it’s hard to understand them at times.

Perhaps there should be a remedial tutorial for the libs before they are allowed to starting using the blog.

And not to be confused with “Flounce”
Which can be flaunted as a wide strip of material
    sewn into fabric..
Or an exaggerated action typically intended to express annoyance
    or impatience..
    See select postings herein.

Men in the bleachers hot dogs and Buns..
bliss in the sunbeams Touting Taut Ones.

I’ve noticed that SuzieQ has changed her avatar to a likeness of Ellie May Clampitt. It’s my hope that Ellie May will challenge her use of the avatar. Ellie May was a kind and gentle character on the Beverly Hillbillies program. She never said an unkind word about anyone or anything. Her avatar is certainly misused by Suzie Q.

  5. Sandi Saunders | September 30, 2012 at 8:13 pm

Yes, you would be an expert Suzie, after all, you claim Frank “says everything in a pretty straightforward manner”. And we all know that to be “true”.

  6. Dan Casey | September 30, 2012 at 8:17 pm

    Ellie Mae v. Suzie.

It will go to the Supreme Court!

  7. Suzie | September 30, 2012 at 8:39 pm

No, actually, it’s Donna Douglas who turned down roles where she was asked to act in an un-Christian manner. She turned down a key role in one of the nighttime soaps because she felt it was not a wholesome image.

Leftwingers have a very hard time confusing actors with their roles. They think Steve Colbert is a journalist instead of an actor. They think Jon Stewart is a news anchor instead of failed comedian. They STILL think Tina Fey is Sarah Palin. They think Al Franken is one of his silly SNL characters instead of the buffoon he is in real life. You recall the Democrats even called Colbert to testify in character to our nation’s Congress. That’s how disconnected those leaders are.

  8. dave | September 30, 2012 at 9:20 pm

If you got it flaunt it. And if it’s illegal, flout it.

  9. gdad | September 30, 2012 at 9:52 pm

#7 The same Donna Douglas who got divorced twice, suzie? You know that divorce stuff troll girl finds so un-Christianlike?

  10. gdad | September 30, 2012 at 9:59 pm

#1 We’ll look into liberals getting lessons on grammar and usage after suzie learns what irony actually is and can distinguish how to properly use their, they’re, and there. A refresher on preferred American punctuation might also be helpful.

  11. Dave Hicks | September 30, 2012 at 10:05 pm

IIRC, Donna Douglas had one child. So, she was not barren. OTOH, only one child means she was not likely to be one of Suzie’s type of Christian.

Twice divorced. See: http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/p3s2c2a6.htm #’s 2382 – 2395. Again not what Suzie proclaims.

Somehow Suzie’s confusion of TV fiction and real life suggest too much faux.

Given the OP would that not be “If you got ‘em flaunt ‘em”

Your comment popped up while I was typing. Looks as if I’m in good company, today.

    Re: Comment by gdad — September 30, 2012 @ 9:59 pm

Rather like her assertion she knows “the correct form but didn’t type it.”
    See: #39 @ http://tinyurl.com/3kxjt9v

OIOW, what she thinks is all that counts or something like that.

After all someone so important doesn’t need to worry about details — you know like the truth, facts, etc.

  15. Suzie | September 30, 2012 at 10:18 pm

If a leftwing male says Donna Douglas was not attractive in her heyday, he has to be gay. There’s just no way around that.

  16. Suzie | September 30, 2012 at 10:23 pm

    10.
Aww, Granddad is still fixated over a typo. Yeah, I do make them. But I think he’s still steamed that he doesn’t konw what “irony” is.

“before they are allowed to starting using the blog”

Muphry’s Law (http://grammar.about.com/od/il/g/MuphrysLaw.htm) claims another victim.

  19. joe | September 30, 2012 at 11:48 pm

Sexy is more than a rope belt and a hillbilly dialect.
Theres also should be a bit of honesty involved.
Theres always those that hang onto what they used to
    think was cool..
And it becomes somewhat sad that even the rope wont reach around them anymore.

  20. Contrasuzie | October 1, 2012 at 12:06 am

Ellie May or Mary Ann? I’ll take Mary Ann any day.

  21. Kristen | October 1, 2012 at 8:26 am

My brain going a million miles a minute. I am not proofreading before starting to use this blog

  22. gdad | October 1, 2012 at 8:49 am

#16 “But I think he’s still steamed that he doesn’t konw what “irony” is.”

Come on, snoozie, you shouldn’t lie about the guy who’s so helpfully pointed out correct usage of irony on the blog just to give you the chance to learn. I’ve mostly given up pointing out when you incorrectly use it (as you did in the past week) because it’s clear that you don’t care if you look like a dolt.

  23. gdad | October 1, 2012 at 8:56 am

#14 Yes, Dave H, she also struggles mightily with its and it’s, but I didn’t want to pile on too much.

Various people on the blog struggle with spelling (one of the very best reporters I ever knew personally was a terrible speller), punctuation, grammar and, yes, typos (guilty), and I very rarely point it out. Except when it’s a numbskull who calls other people stupid or makes fun of them for their errors. And suzie makes herself such an easy target.

  24. gdad | October 1, 2012 at 9:01 am

#125 Funny, suzie, I didn’t see ANY male on this thread suggesting that Donna Douglas wasn’t a looker. She was. Of course, she’s almost 80 now. The only person even bringing it up is you.

  25. Suzie | October 1, 2012 at 9:40 am

Sexy is more than a rope belt and a hillbilly dialect.

Elly May was a CHARACTER, genius. OMG. How many times do I have to point that out to leftwingers?

  26. Frank | October 1, 2012 at 9:45 am

sheesh, gdummy, I could have gone on for a whole lot longer without having an image of an 80 year old DD in my head. thanks, er, NO thanks, alot!

  27. Suzie | October 1, 2012 at 9:49 am

My brain going a million miles a minute. I am not proofreading before starting to use this blog

Kristen should feel accomplished. It’s because of her the “throw in a nickle” literacy fund for blog leftwingers was established.

  28. Suzie | October 1, 2012 at 9:51 am

#125 Funny, suzie, I didn’t see ANY male on this thread suggesting that Donna Douglas wasn’t a looker. She was. Of course, she’s almost 80 now. The only person even bringing it up is you.

Let’s see, neither Poodle, Dave H; Joe, nor you seem to be attracted in any way to Ms. Douglas. Should we read between the lines, Granddad?

  29. gdad | October 1, 2012 at 11:06 am

#28 Yep, caught suize making it up again. But you can read between the lines all you want. Doesn’t mean you’re right.

I think part of the problem, troll, is that any association of any sort with you makes a person fairly unattractive to the rest of us.

I notice you just sort of ignore the whole divorce thing with Douglas. In fact, she couldn’t even stay married for long to either husband. According to you, good Christians don’t do that.

  30. gdad | October 1, 2012 at 11:07 am

    #21 Good one, Kristen.

  31. Sandi Saunders | October 1, 2012 at 12:29 pm

Maybe there should be some kind of tutorial on how stupidly Suzie will present hers point while trying to slam others, before anyone is “allowed to starting” on this blog.

You lie that we think actors are real, etc. but you are the one using them in character as an avatar. Pitiful as usual.

  32. Sandi Saunders | October 1, 2012 at 12:33 pm

Suzie, attaching your name would ruin the attractiveness of the most beautiful woman on earth. If you like Ms. Douglass, do her a favor and leave her alone. You should get the avatar you come across like. Surely images of FlimFlambaugh are available to you dittheads.

  33. Kristen | October 1, 2012 at 1:38 pm

All of Susie’s attractive female references are def for the AARP crowd.

  34. Dave Hicks | October 1, 2012 at 1:55 pm

    Hum,

Someone seems obsessed with physical appearance — overcompensating so, in fact.

Now reading between the lines might well suggest that such overcompensation is the classic defense mechanism that conceals one undesirable shortcomings by exaggerating desirable behaviors or attributes — on in an anonymous situation, claiming non-existing desirable behaviors or attributes.

BTW, Suzie, although I appreciate physical beauty, that is not the defining attribute of a woman or of a man, IMHO. Even if you were a beauty, physically, you’d still be ugly, to me — be you a man or woman. FWIIW, your assumptions or “reading between the lines” are the least of your failures.

  35. joe | October 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm

    Sandi is right,,,
Suzie, it wouldnt matter if you
posted an image of Jocelyn Wildenstein..
The point is thats not the part that matters.
Disingenuous behavior blinds the best sighted men..
    And women.

  36. mike O | October 1, 2012 at 4:47 pm

    Sandi,
Re: “Maybe there should be some kind of tutorial on how stupidly Suzie will present hers point while trying to slam others, before anyone is “allowed to starting” on this blog. “

    “hers point”???

Ever heard about those “people in glass houses”? lol

  37. Art Hill | October 1, 2012 at 5:03 pm

I’d think twice before getting behind some redneck babe named Clampett.

All of Susie’s attractive female references are def for the AARP crowd.

Right. LIke 24 y/o Amanda Pflugrad. Let’s just add Ms. Douglas to the list of attractive accomplished women Kristen’s jealous of.

  42. joe | October 1, 2012 at 8:12 pm

If you are gonna try and build a train set
    of “accomplished women”
you probably should move beyond the Beverly Hillbillies
aisle before you start buying books..
    Just a casual observation.

  43. joe | October 1, 2012 at 8:39 pm

    He done her wrong…
    Its all coming together now..
It wasnt the fried naner sandwiches after all.

Really SuzieQ, “like 24 year old Amanda Pflugrad”? Do you honestly think that somehow bolsters your case? It just makes you that much creepier.
