Lots of lip service. As usual. Here’s some more from Univision.

I just saw the Mittster with his new tan just in time for his Univision appearance. Wonder is that look won him any votes?
“I bought those people. They belong to me. And they’ll do as I say or I’ll make them pay their income taxes”.
Vote for me and I’ll set you free.
Henry, don’t put words in Romney’s mouth like that! I am sure that is not what he meant to say.
Here is one of that 47%:
“Everybody in my family’s been Republican,” she said. “It goes back in my family. I really supported his conservative values, and he seems laid back. And he seemed like he was going to fight for America to get back to America. Now with him calling us lazy, saying we want a handout, I’m not sure I want him as my president.”
As a cashier at Walmart, Lawley earns $7.95 an hour — not enough to cover the costs of food and rent, or health insurance. “I would love to be one of the people who didn’t have to have a handout,” she said.”
Sometimes, people wake up from that dream and Romney was just the guy to help them do so!

Here is another one and he is not voting for either of them:
“John Hoskins is not proud of his dependence on government. He scrapes by on a $900 monthly check from the Veterans Administration and $16 in food stamps. Sometimes he struggles just to pay his utilities and keep food in the fridge.
…Hoskins thinks Obama talks a good game, but that he failed to deliver on his campaign promises. Romney, meanwhile, simply does not seem to grasp the profound difficulties many Americans face, he said.
“He is not in touch with the cold, hard reality of life,” he said.”

Even people not voting for Obama have Romney’s number!
Walmart has built a HUGE business with lots of help from the government.
They pay their employees less than a living wage, and offer crummy health insurance, and then they build a human resources office that assists their workers in applying for Food Stamps (which get spent at Walmart, of course), Medicaid and other welfare benefits.
Like many other TP/GOP businesses so proud to whine “we built it”, WalMart is indeed “part of the problem”. They gain success and wealth at the expense of taxpayers. No other way to say it. The low wages that make them such a success and make the Waltons so wealthy are the crux of the 47% “problem” Romney complains about. Never having the common decency to note their own role in the problem!
I have a theory on Mr. Romney’s new tan. I think he looked at the TV ratings from the convention and saw that the GOP lost out to Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. He had his people research the show. His new campaign strategy is to have a fake tan, speak incomprehensible nonsense, and push the sass up to level 10!

Right. Think of where these people would be without Walmart. 100% dependence on government. Dan’s “logic” is very similar to Liberal Ron’s when Ron claims the U.S. government’s biggest expense is taxes it did not collect.
Kevin, the real story behind Romney’s new tan is that he has hots for Snooky and he getting that Jersey tanned look
Suzie, you go “live” on $7.95 an hour and then come talk about it.
Speaking of percentages. Another year of long awaited tax returns of Mitt Romney came out today. Speaking of 47% that is almost the percentage Mitt Romney paid in taxes and charity. $13,000,000 in earnings, paid $2,000,000 in taxes and $4,000,000 to charity. But Dan says since he is a Mormon he is obligated to pay that to charity just like taxes. What an evil man. Can’t wait to see the spin of that 31% charitable donation rate. Mideast on fire, another credit downgrade for the US, more people signup for food stamps then get jobs and tomorrow’s blog title will be Harry Reid has another call to his office.
Dan;
Surprised to find out that Wal-Mart chains their employees to their workstation and are not able to quit and find another job. Shocking. IF they only had a union!
And when Wal-Mart cashes out their employees food stamp checks they are paid out money only transferable at Wal-Mart.

Why would I want to settle for $7.95 an hour? I can’t understand why folks aim so low. I really honestly believe that’s where liberalism has hurt people the most. It has taught them they are too stupid to advance themselves on their own. It’s incredible the number of people who settle for a pittance.

What blithering nonsense. No, you can quit any job you want to in America. The only think you can’t quit is 0bamacare.
I drove through some of the blighted areas of town. Northwest -11th street, Gilmer, Loudoun, Hanover and the like, and SE in Kristen’s neck of the woods; the 24014 area code, and I see an awful lot of Walmart merchandise in the yards: toys, bicycles. And when you look through the windows there are undoubtedly Walmart lamps and furniture. In the cupboad, Great Value food.
Frankly, poor people revere Walmart the way the residents of Beford Falls revered the Bailey Buliding and Loan. In fact, I would like to see a collection taken up among all the poor areas of American cities, and a giant check be presented to Walmart as a payment for all the good they have done poor people. It’s time the poor pay Walmart back, and I think a lot of them would be willing to do so.
Neither of the neighborhoods poster #18 deigned to visit are “poor”, they are stable lower middle class places full of hardworking folks, and quite a few who are solidly middle class, plus some upper middle class homes in 24014. There is little in this area like the abject poverty found in some large cities worst areas, and rural pockets like S.E. Kentucky, and some native American reservations.
But just a couple days ago the same poster was saying that small business does everything important in this country, now it’s all about how great the biggest killer of small business in U.S. history is. What a “say anything at the moment” idiot, no wonder that poster supports a similar classhole named Rmoney.
#17 Methinks suzie sort of forgot to read the post she was responding to. Just kneejerking along.
Suzie;
You lost all the pinko leftists on the Great Value comment. They would never shop in a non-union establishment. These great minds only go to some organic shop.
Leftys; Great Value would be a store brand. Let me break that down even further. That would be a brand sold under the Wal-Mart label at a cheaper price.
#18 suzie, peeking in people’s windows to see how they furnish their house or what they’re eating is pretty creepy. And turning over their yard stuff looking for Walmart stickers is just weird. Some of those folks own firearms.
Of course we know you didn’t really drive through these areas assessing whether things were from Walmart — you’re just making up more crap. And digging yourself another hole.
She can’t see the forest for the trees.
She can’t see the writing on the wall.
But Wal-Mart merchandise? Eyes of an eagle, baby!
…even at five over the speed limit, doors locked and windows up.
Oh yes, silly, silly me. Of course we can ALL just work out of those Walmart, fast food, dry cleaner, cafeteria, motel, janitorial jobs and then…well then there will be no damn body to do them! Brilliant Suzie, just brilliant! Move on up and the low wage jobs just vanish. Why didn’t the working poor think of that?
Reading comprehension is not Suzie’s strong suit either James Swingle. She thinks you are “on the other side”! Priceless!
Neither of the neighborhoods poster #18 deigned to visit are “poor”
Warren would you allow your wife or mother to walk down 11th and Gilmer at 11pm on a Saturday night?
That’s the test of a neighborhood.

Yep, James Swingle. I guess the enjoy throwing their money away.
Who are you calling “pinko leftists” you mental midgets? God in Heaven only knows how embarrassing you people are! When you can come in off the playground please let us know.
