Bill Clinton analyzes Romney’s debate switcheroo

Clinton pegs it: The Romney campaign was desperate, and “sinking faster than the Titanic,” so they had to bring out “Old Moderate Mitt.”

It’s hilarious Clinton of all people talking about “lying”.

Can anybody tell us ONE “moderate” thing Romney said at the debate? Didn’t think so.

Romney ignited conservatives because he spoke conservative themes. He beat the idiot over the head with his deficit spending, he blasted the fake ‘green’ energy initiative, and said raising taxes on rich people hurt the economy.

Funny thing happened the night of the debate.
Those on the left were stunned and let down by the poor performance by Obama’s poor performance.

It was displayed on this blog as Dan tried to defend and pretend Obama was winning in posts every few minutes. This went on for roughly the first thirty minutes of the debate until even Dan himself realized something was not right. Mr. Obama was off of his game, perhaps the result of missing his teleprompter or a script. Dan’s play by play ceased.

Never fear, even after those on MSNBC and elsewhere were dumbfounded during and directly after the debate, by mid-morning the new talking points were issued and everyone began their march, step for step accordingly.

Well of course that Mitt Romney was an imposter the night before, he wasn’t the real Mitt, and he lied. He moved to the center. He changed positions, blah blah blah.

I don’t know who will win the election. I know who I will vote for and I’m sure the polls will fluctuate many times during the next few weeks.

One final thing I am absolutely sure of, the liberals and left were caught completely off-guard by the poor performance of President Obama during the debates. Their resulting response, or lack of was hilarious. The response following around 9-10 hours later was expected. This couldn’t merely be chalked up as Obama falling flat, no, no, it was that the President was debating an imposter Mitt Romney.

    That still makes me chuckle.
Almost as much as Dan and others following their marching orders.

  4. Chuck | October 10, 2012 at 9:58 pm

The funniest part of this is Obama himself isn’t nearly as objectionable as the liberals who support him. He has even acknowledged that he had a bad night. However, his followers continue to make excuses and deny reality. It is telling of how insecure you guys are about this election.

  5. Frank | October 10, 2012 at 10:03 pm

holy cow, here’s ol’ bubba… ‘splaining to the American people that we should “feel bad” for obama, because after all, on his anniversary, obama found himself getting screw-d by another man for 90 minutes, in front of his wife and 67,000,000 million Americans!

  6. Henry | October 10, 2012 at 10:46 pm

“I did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. Those allegations are false”.
Until the blue dress that is. Then he had to resort to the truth.
What an epic liar. Impeached for perjury and he is cracking on Romney.

I agree with you, Henry. There is a credibility deficit there, but I wonder why Bill Clinton even still cares. His voters then didn’t care and sure wouldn’t now. Now that it’s old news, why can’t he just say “Yeah, I hit that! a lesser desk would have been in splinters (slaps a hi five)!”

  8. Sandi Saunders | October 10, 2012 at 11:12 pm

Yeah Henry, it is a bit odd, one liar “cracking” on another. It is odder still that people who have claimed to hate lies (at least for the past four years) no longer do now that their own Wall Street Willard is telling them.

    Politics does make strange bedfellows.

  9. Frank | October 10, 2012 at 11:19 pm

yeah, the little mentioned fact by the libs is that up against a real, honest to goodness successful, knowledgable, and confident person, obuma by comparison LOOKED small, weak, and, well, like he was having a bad night. Yeah, he sure had one, but I submit not because he was “off”. I believe that he was out-debated by Mitt Romney, pure and simple. And, I wouldn’t be surprised to see obama and his egotistical minions do the same thing… again, and again.

  10. gdad | October 10, 2012 at 11:41 pm

#3 Actually BM, I DO chalk it up to Obama being flat and just doing very poorly. But there’s no question tat imposter Mitt was also there.

  11. gdad | October 10, 2012 at 11:41 pm

#1 So suzie hates Clnton lying but is perfectly OK with Mitt doing it. No surprise there.

  12. Contrasuzie | October 10, 2012 at 11:47 pm

If Bill were back in Office, and the economy and country were doing as great as they were under his past administration, I’d put on a blue dress and drop to my kness right in front of him in a heartbeat.

  13. Art Hill | October 10, 2012 at 11:56 pm

You can lie us into war, but if you lie about a hummer it becomes a 20 year obsession. Yeah, right.

  14. pammala | October 11, 2012 at 5:02 am

ahh slick willy, yeah people believe what HE says…..Romney gaining in key states,,,lol

  15. Mattyr | October 11, 2012 at 6:19 am

Silly rabbit, mitt didn’t lie. He evolved his position.

  16. Suzie | October 11, 2012 at 7:32 am

If Bill were back in Office, and the economy and country were doing as great as they were under his past administration

Clinton had as much to do with the economy of the late 90s as a gnat on a windshield has to do with driving a semi.

The SOB was on track to be another 0bama spendthrift until the 104th Congress arrived.

  17. Suzie | October 11, 2012 at 7:34 am

You can lie us into war

NOOBama lied us deeper into Afghanistan. He has more American deaths on his hands than Bush did after four years. Where are you leftwing turds on that?

  18. Henry | October 11, 2012 at 8:03 am

“You can lie us into war, but if you lie about a hummer it becomes a 20 year obsession. Yeah, right.”

If you lie under oath in court during a trail where you are accused of sexual assault, it is called “perjury”.
The only person who lied about war was Obama.

  19. Henry | October 11, 2012 at 8:05 am

“drop to my kness right in front of him in a heartbeat.”

You know how to fulfill your given role in life. We need to know nothing else about you.

  20. Kristen | October 11, 2012 at 8:12 am

I’m right there with you, Contra. I’d take Clinton and the 90s back all day long….I couldn’t care less who he slept with or lied to about it, then or now. What a country of busybodies…embarrassing.

  21. Frank | October 11, 2012 at 9:22 am

hey you libs, the image described by Contra is the exact image I see when I think of the relationship between the lib mainstream media…and what they do for obuma.

  22. dave | October 11, 2012 at 9:33 am

Republicans continue to lie about the economy and ignore all the positive signs that recovery is underway and that continuing and supporting the President’s policies will lead us out o the mess the Republifcans put us in starting in 2008. Here’s more evidence:

  23. Shrillary | October 11, 2012 at 9:55 am

pamallalala @14 – well yes, Americans actually believe him and like Bill Clinton…it’s called perspective.

“Former President Bill Clinton is more popular now than at any time during the 20 years since his emergence as a presidential candidate, with two-thirds of registered voters viewing him favorably, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
[...] only 25 percent of voters have a negative view of him.”
    http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/14/poll-bill-clinton-is-more-popular-than-ever/

Guess a little research would have made your comment less dumb…

  24. Suzie | October 11, 2012 at 10:15 am

So I guess we can say Nobama lied about his position on gay marriage.

  25. Shrillary | October 11, 2012 at 10:15 am

    @18 Comment by Henry — October 11, 2012 @ 8:03 am
“If you lie under oath in court during a trail where you are accused of sexual assault, it is called “perjury”. The only person who lied about war was Obama.”

    Let’s fact check:
    1. President Clinton was NEVER accused of sexual assault. Please do yourself a favor [and us] to look up the legal definition of sexual assault. Surely you will be embarrassed at your ignorant remark
    2. “a 2008 Gallup poll found that 53 percent of Americans believed that the Bush administration “deliberately misled the American public about whether Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.” (This was a big change from a poll taken two months after the 2003 invasion that noted that 67 percent believed that Bush had played it straight.) ”
    [...]
“Bush and his aides repeatedly asserted Iraq was loaded with chemical weapons. In a Rose Garden speech on Sept. 26, 2002, Bush insisted that “the Iraqi regime possesses biological and chemical weapons. The Iraqi regime is building the facilities necessary to make more biological and chemical weapons.” Yet a September 2002 report by the Defense Intelligence Agency, which was widely distributed to government policymakers, said, “There is no reliable information on whether Iraq is producing or stockpiling chemical weapons, or where Iraq has — or will — establish its chemical warfare agent production facilities.”

Now Henry, where is the link to President Obama lying about the two Bush wars or any war?
President Obama promised to end the Iraq War [done], and,
the President vowed to provide an end date to the Afghanistan War [done - target date 2014].

  27. Henry | October 11, 2012 at 10:23 am

The Democrats controlled Congress in 2008. You need to update your spin, Dave.

“.I couldn’t care less who he slept with or lied to about it, then or now. What a country of busybodies…embarrassing.”

If you found out Romney sexually assaulted a subordinate and then lied about it under oath, you’d suddenly become one of those embarrassing busybodies, Kristen. And to think, you busybody Democrats wanted to keep Clarence Thomas off the Supreme Court for telling a dirty joke around a girl. How Embarrassing.

  28. Frank | October 11, 2012 at 11:29 am

    Hey Henry,

your direct comparison of billy bob’s “despicable act of betrayal to his wife, and bald-faced, finger-wagging lies to the American people”…to Clarence Thomas’ “adult-oriented joke” is another vivid example of libs’ never-ending hypocrisy.

  29. Kristen | October 11, 2012 at 1:11 pm

“Sexually assaulted”, really, Henry? Quelle drama. No one’s made that claim, even Monica.

  30. Henry | October 11, 2012 at 1:37 pm

#26 The entire article never gave a quote from Bush. Here’s the quote you are looking for.

“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security.” — Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002

  31. Shrillary | October 11, 2012 at 5:13 pm

Henry – poor dear deluded Henry – a confession from Bush? Seriously, you think that GW Bush would confess to tricking the American people into a war that had killed 4488 American men and women? He wouldn’t confess under threat of waterboarding for Pete’s sake…that might damage his presidential legacy…oh, snap, that’s already happened…

  32. Art Hill | October 11, 2012 at 6:19 pm

Henry and Jethrene still apologizing for Bush. Color me surprised.

  33. Chuck | October 11, 2012 at 6:21 pm

    Shillary @ 25:

    “Let’s fact check:
    1. President Clinton was NEVER accused of sexual assault.”

You know, “NEVER accused” is a strong phrase. Maybe you need someone to fact check your own fact checking. Then you wouldn’t embarrass yourself.

  34. Shrillary | October 11, 2012 at 6:48 pm

Chuck – let’s get our stories straight. Most ill-informed was speaking about Monica Lewinsky. There were never charges of sexual assault. You are now trying to make her statement right by diverting to a tabloid story unrelated to Lewinsky. Geez – “you people” facts, schmacks…

  35. matt | October 11, 2012 at 7:11 pm

“Sexually assaulted”, really, Henry? Quelle drama. No one’s made that claim, even Monica.–Comment by Kristen

Henry, after reading Chuck’s link @33, I’m sure you can expect an apology from Kristen any time now.

  36. Kristen | October 11, 2012 at 9:05 pm

Henry was talking about Momica and I will not be apologizing. Ole Juanitas pitiful shot at a payday doesn’t count.
