Video: ‘The 7 habits of highly misleading people’

Holy smoke. Here’s an ad the Obama campaign put together and put out in the hours leading up to tonight’s debate between Rep. Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden. How dare they do something like this?

(h/t to Say What?, who posted a link to this on the vice-presidential debate thread).

Why don’t you list all the lies and broken promises of the President. You could fill an entire paper with them.
How about the $250 monthly Medicare Part B coming at the elderly @2014.
These people live on an avg., of $800 or so for each person. Deduct
$250 and they live on $550. The illegal aliens are eligible for Medicare
having not paid a dime into it unlike the people who have paid into it
since 1966, I paid $150K so far my wife has paid a big more than that.
If you’re going to report, report the facts on both sides of the issue.

He can’t do that, Doug. Dan works for the Democrat Party. He’s not allowed to criticize the President or the White House. He’s a company man and this is a White House newspaper. He’s only allowed to criticize those who oppose the President.

    Doug Thompson,

Just a few facts in response to your 6:29 p.m. comment.

In order to qualify for Medicare Part A (and therefore, Part B), you have to be receiving Social Security retirement benefits. In order to receive SS retirement, you have to provide proof of citizenship or legal residency.

Just a few more facts on your comment about medicare part b. Below is a link to an aarp article which debunks the myth of the $250 per month medicare part b premium beginning in 2014. TYhis lie has been distributed in an email staerting sometime in early 2010. It bears no relatyionship to reality. In fact there vare some people who pay that much now because the premium is based upon income guidelines. So if your adjusted gross income for a copiupe filing jointly is over 300000 your premium is higher. But for the average retiree, the premium will be nowhere near $250 per month. It might be a good idea to check out your sources instead of accep[ting what some right wing chain email says.

There are people who pay in who won’t ever collect as well, Doug. A lot of them aliens.

And even if you credit the right wingers with the amount of lies they believe Obama has told, how the hell is replacing liars with liars beneficial to anyone? All that turn over and turmoil for the first year, all over again. And for what, so we can have a new liar in the White House. No thanks.
