The story as I heard it had to do with theft.
A High School team in the Shenendoah Valley
was hosting a team from Poca West Va.
Their name is the Poca Dots.
The locals in the valley had planned on stealing
their mascot..they were in bags…large Poca dots they
wore on their hands. The Poca team found out about the plan
and stuffed a live skunk that had been sedated into the bag that usually held the dots.
The students found a rather intoxicated Hispanic guy to do the task.
He thought he was stealing a bag full of hand puppets..
Turned out the skunk was just coming to when he shoved his hand into the bag. He was trying to find the team bus when he was pulled over….and now the rest of the story…
