JOHN…actully untrained armed women do get raped, so you must know what your doing. Having a gun in your purse isnt going to save you if you cant get a round out of the barrel… but I DO support your outlineing statment

I agree 100%. But there must always be more than her word to take the accused’s freedom. On the other hand, armed women don’t get raped in the first place. Take control ladies!

News Flash! Sometimes rape is ONLY she said/he said. Few men admit to it. Too many say “she asked for it”. I grant you there are sick people who claim crimes where none existed, but there are also heinous crimes where little actual “evidence” exists. Rape is a horrible, sometimes mentally brutal invasion that cannot always be proved beyond even reasonable doubt. That does not mean it does not occur or that it is not awful.

Since you drug me into it…. there should be SIGNIFICANTY more than he said/she said. Is it just that I favor due process, where you have said on this blog that someone once needed to prove his innocence? Oh, that’s right, it was a suspected crime that involved a gun in that case, where due process isn’t important to you.

For what it’s worth, ALL claims should be looked at with healthy skepticism in the quest for proof. Due process is a cornerstone of freedom.
