I agree in part about statements like Jeff Doto’s and cringe when I hear people like him make statements like that because it works against what the others of us are doing to protect and restore our rights. It’s not the scores of responsible gun owners, many of which you don’t even know carry, who you hear. No, it’s Doto making counter-productive statements like that.

Still, I will take my chances with a few gun owners who say dumb things over a government with broad discretion to have their hand in everyone’s gun cabinet and holster.

IMHO, you’re delusional thinking education would obviate the need for any
tool like a wrench, shovel or gun.

IMHO, if it’s defending family. . .whatever works is best. Wind and solar power sources are too inefficient and capital intensive compared to
oil, gas and coal. Whatever works best in this case.

I was a man who served his country and shot many guns, but I don’t feel the need to flaunt my gun prowess about like it is something to be proud of. I would like to build a community that does not need guns. That looks at guns and deems them silly and useless. I know it is a “pipe dream”, but come on!
