A Texan with an idea about how to screw the right wing

Yeah, man. Oldest friend sent me your column on Chambers.

As a fellow political writer (online Quorum Report) and philosophical nonsectarian, I congratulate you for not saying “Hey, the internet is proving a lucrative deal for anybody talking like a man with a paper ass–le who can identify a constituency.”

If Democrats are smart they’ll finance these folks to ensure that adequate disinformation is available to allow GOP true believers to remain uninformed and misinformed.

On the other hand, I’m writing from a state that provided the most conniving man ever to occupy the Oval Office (LBJ) as well as the stupidest man ever elected president (W twice) and they’d still like to give you Rick Perry. That’s three isn’t it?

Good work. Hope you continue the trend toward reality in political reporting. I’ll try to do the same.

Just have to say ” Thanks ” to all you who have voted to keep this president in office, a disgrace and embarrasment to our country. Oh,and let’s not forget his siden,Biden! its also amazing how liberals process facts & figures to justify and push your agendas.
It’s almost like they were making it all up! Can’t wait for 2013 to get here!

A 2016 prediction by my 19 year old son…”I’m going to make a prediction that the Repulican Party is going to distance themselves from their conservative social supporters and the next election will be between a very moderate Republican and a very liberal Democrat. It’ll be a fight over fiscal policy rather than social liberties because people are rapidly becoming more liberal socially.” Thoughts like that from his age group has me believing we won’t be going to hell in a handbasket but rather rebuilding this country to it’s great stature once again!

About this blog

Metro Columnist Dan Casey knows a little bit about a lot of things but not a heck of a lot about most things. That doesn't keep him from writing about them, however. So keep him honest!

He welcomes your rants, raves and considered opinions, so long as the language is civil (i.e. no four-letter words). He'll read all your posts and may or may not respond.
