I used to call on Mick-or Macks headquarters when they had about 14 stores locally. Nice to see a piece of Roanoke culture still thriving!!!

Mick or Mack in Raleigh Court is great. It’s like “The Store That Time Forgot.” A walk back into a 1950s grocery store.
Gotta love their 1 foot long conveyor belts at the cash registers.
It’s like – “Why even bother?”, but it’s quaint.
They may not have all the most popular brands or quite the variety of other chain stores, but I think it’s a cool store and hope they stay around a long time.
