At 4:26 in the video, Pratt says “she paid very dearly for her poor judgement”. Right there he embodies the obliviousness of gun apologists to the cost incurred by others. In fact, just in this one incident, hundreds are paying dearly in heartbreak and broken families, not just Mrs. Lanza. But the head of the Gun Owners of America thinks only the deceased paid a price. Keeping the bloody costs to the rest of us, including economic costs, undebated is key to the ongoing societal selfishness of gun apologists like Larry Pratt and Phillip Van Cleave.

So it’s OK for the author of the upcoming gun ban to have her own concealed gun permit? The Hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze me. Anyone who believes the left and democrats care about anything other than controlling every aspect of your life is living a pipe dream.

My first thought was, how exactly are AR-15 type weapons useful for self-defense if they’re locked in a safe, as Mr. Pratt recommends (so that your “evil” son won’t use them on you)? Do you just tell the home invader to wait a minute while you try to remember the combination or find your key?
