Your daily Letter to the Columnist — Dec. 13, 2012
I purchased tickets for the first show. It started with a video and then the guys came out for about 40 minutes. That was it. The only clothing that was removed was their shirts.
According to various 202 employees, the Alcoholic Beverage Control folks cut the show off. They said Virginia law prohibited anything else.
I briefly spoke to a female manager to express my disappointment and she went into a speech about how the guys would be “doing more in the pit provocatively dressed” after 11 p.m. and that the ticket price included the entire night (one show and then the after party). However, this information wasn’t advertised.
I feel misled and ripped off. I paid for a full show and not what 202 Market provided. Based on comments from others who attended the first show, I’m not the only one who feels cheated.
