People like this exist in their own private hell, convinced that anyone who holds a different opinion is engaged in a giant conspiracy to ruin their lives, take away their “things” and take over the world. They are
overwhelmed by paranoia, jealousy, and hate and feel threatened by anything which they see as “different”. The concepts of love and compassion, if they exist at all for these people, are usually blotted
out by the feelings of inadequacy generated by that private hell.
