I spent too many hours listening to their first 2 albums. Good stuff. Their music seems to hold up pretty well today.

    Great tune, Dan!

  3. Sandi Saunders | January 18, 2013 at 9:26 pm

It is one of the great songs. It never gets old.

Never understood why Neil Young played with these jingle jangle guys. Long live Crazy Horse!

Mature Rockers that can still bring it. Nice to hear songs with meaningful lyrics.

I’d give them a 75% in likeability. I tend to prefer something more rooted…

It’s difficult to choose a favorite.

Never understood why Crosby, Stills, & Nash let Young play with them. The man sings like a cat in heat.

at least Neil Young, who btw, contra is quite talented, unlike your idol beiber, who sings like a girl

Saw CSN in Buffalo in 1978, and it was tremendous. The played as a group for about 60 minutes, took a 15 minute intermission, the each came out and played solo for about 30 minutes each. WOW! The came back out as a group and finished us off with another 45 minute set. Their music stands the test of time very well.

I am always running into David Crosby’s open tunings, theres a bunch of them. I still sing Graham Nash’s tune, Military Madness, its a great tune!

pammala, I actually agree with you about Neil Young and I can’t stand Bieber, but why don’t you just try making your opinion known without the personal insults? Oh, wait, that’s right. I know why.

I love this song! Thank you for posting Dan.

I loved CSN & Y and this song. My daughter and son in law were watching a Neil Young concert on TV when my grandson was about 4 years, his response to him was, that guy is freaking me out. I love Neil Young.

Neil Young is a talented songwriter and arranger and overall musician. I just can’t stand his voice. Same goes for Bob Dylan. Just my opinion.

Thank you for saying I’m talented, pammala.

(pammala probably recites the Pledge of Allegiance as if there’s a comma between ‘one nation’ and ‘under God’.)

I’m strange, I love Bob Dylan’s voice and Tom Wait’s too.

  18. Debbie | January 20, 2013 at 8:22 am

Would any person on this blog admit to being a Justin Bieber fan? I think not. Personally, I’ve never listened to him.

  19. gdad | January 20, 2013 at 10:15 am

You ARE right, Contra, pammala DID say that you’re talented.

  20. Kristen | January 20, 2013 at 10:22 am

Pammalala blew all her punctuation for the year in that post.

  21. Bill Hudson | January 20, 2013 at 11:14 am

#17 Yes Tom Waits is one of the best songwriters . I think I do about 6 of his songs. As to Dylan, he kicked the door down. Just read his lyrics its a trip. I do Lilly, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts and I am still learning something about the the characters.

  22. Debbie | January 20, 2013 at 11:34 am

They are both amazing, Bill Hudson.

  23. Debbie | January 20, 2013 at 11:36 am

Let’s eat Grandma! Let’s eat, Grandma. Punctuation matters.

  24. gdad | January 20, 2013 at 11:57 am

pammala has always claimed punctuation doesn’t matter, but maybe she’ll change her tune after accidentally complimenting Contra.

  25. Contrasuzie | January 20, 2013 at 1:31 pm

Justin Bieber makes a helluva lot more money than a 7-11 owner. And after all, isn’t that how pammala measures success?
