Actually, Dan, it seems by suzie’s “logic” that it’s really the Rwandans’ own fault that they died. God warned them — although I’m not sure what good a warning does when in fact, according to suzie, God has already determined what will happen. In the end, Clinton was but another hapless pawn in God’s great game of human chess.

But you have to forgive suzie if her tongue seems a little tied. Happens to trolls when they’ve been creamed.

You two are looking for logic in all the wrong places. You know that the GOTP, and the bloggers who represent them here are incapable and it almost seems like picking on them when we keep pointing it out. But it is still fun.

Justin True, an interesting point.

Suzie blames Bill Clinton for not preventing the murder of 800,000 Rwandans. Yet I have never heard her deem Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush1 or Bush2 culpable for failing to prevent any of the 54 million abortions right here in the U.S. since Roe v Wade.

Perhaps those are all Clinton’s fault, too!

How long was your people, repubs, in office? Not only was a Republican in office, but republicans had the the White House for 24 freakin’ years lady! You can’t blame everything on us! Not only that, in 1994 your people controlled the House and Senate! SO… who exactly has been the enablers here?

I recommend you visit Rep. Alan Lowenthal, D-California. He’s a former college professor and longtime California senator. My brother John was his chief of staff for many years. Lowenthal’s a brilliant guy (and so is John).

Fellow bloggers,

One of my least favorite trips is coming up this weekend & early next week. Truthfully part of the trip is enjoyable because I get to meet again with my fellow Catholic college presidents. However, during those meetings we spend time calling on members of Congress on issues important to higher education. I’ve been commenting less frequently the last few days because I’ve been involved in calling on legislators in Indianapolis on issues important to higher education in Indiana. Tis the season as is sometimes said.

My theme this year, as I meet with several members of Congress in the course of the next few days, will be to encourage each member to work across the aisle to solve the problems our country faces. I admit that I am not optimistic. Nonetheless, we keep trying.
