THE ROANOKE TIMES
I hesitate to put my thoughts on a BLOG since I am 77 (nearly 78 this month) and I realize I’m from a different era, but since you need help to be on the NRA “Enemies List” I am happy to oblige. In the Roannoke Times today 2/4/13 an article page 4 – a man SHOT A NAVY SEAL AT A SHOOTING RANGE so once again the NRA is full of doo-doo – SHOOTING RANGES ARE NOT A SAFE PLACE TO PRACTICE SHOOTING A GUN! I HOPE YOU DO A COLUMN ON THAT INCIDENT.
And while I’m at it I often hear on TV or read an article about the morals of this generation. I am from Louisiana. The half time show at the Super Bowl last night featured Beyonce and I’m sure my opinion will get loads of responses. She was dressed like a whore and her sexy dancing was neither ART or entertaining. It was a disgrace. That show belonged on Boubon Street with the other CAT HOUSE women who dance around poles, and sell their bodies for sex. Yes, she sang the National Anthem at the recent Inauguration and whether she recorded it of not (which I understand having studies music since childhood) vocal chords do not do well in cold weather. So she does have a VOICE which I suggest she use to entertain and not her body as a sex object. Joyce T. Enderle
