Remember River Laker, the very first (but not the last) stripper at 202 Market? He rides a bike, see. And he has wondered about some protection of the hot-iron sort. Here’s his video from a recent Roanoke Valley gun show. Man, that’s a lotta guns! (Besides that, note the dude selling belly bands. He’s bra-less, ick!).

Dan, what is the point of this video? What is the point of publicizing this video? What is the point in encouraging Mr. Laker in any pursuit of his? As for the gentleman selling belly bands, I’ve seen you in your biking shorts. Now that’s ick!
Thanks for posting, Dan. I find the comments by the British and USA viewers to the somewhat ambiguous content of this film on YouTube interesting.
I was expecting the man demonstrating the belly band to be out of shape and overweight based on what Mr. Laker told me about the video prior to seeing it but in fact he looks like quite the body builder.
As for carrying while on a bicycle, I don’t think it’s a good idea to have the gun mounted anywhere other than on your body. The RPD bike mounted officers carry theirs in a holster as do motorcycle cops.
Dave, the video is in no way intended to be disrespectful to the gentleman demonstrating the belly band. He was super polite, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, due to the filming circumstances, lighting, etc, I was not able to represent his physique in a way that reflects reality. I have deleted numerous comments that focus on that segment and often hope the guy either does not see the video or if he does that he appreciates no dishonoring was intended and that he has a sense of humor and a healthy self-image.

If the gun show was put on by Showmasters, did he get permission from the promoters to take the video? Photography and video recording at their event are prohibted unless pre-approved.

Hmmmm. And they say no one needs more tha 7 rounds in NY. CBS reports this stuff, violent mobs of 20, 30, and 40 people, and then support gun control and magazine limits? Crazy.
